In its complaint, Nicaragua asked the International Court of Justice to oblige Berlin to stop military aid to Israel by issuing a temporary ruling.

Nicaragua has argued that Germany violated the Genocide Convention (1948) and the Geneva Convention on the Laws of War (1949) in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Previously, South Africa filed a complaint against the Zionist regime to the International Court of Justice for violating the Genocide Convention.

The first meeting of the International Court of Justice regarding the investigation of South Africa’s complaint against the Zionist regime in the genocide case of this regime in the Gaza Strip was held on Thursday, January 21. During this meeting, the representative of South Africa and the legal team of this country emphasized separately that the Israeli regime has intensified the mass killing and the genocide and killing of Palestinians in Gaza must be stopped.

The second meeting was held the next day (Friday, January 22) and the judges of the court were given a few weeks to issue their verdict in this case.

The preliminary ruling of the International Court of Justice regarding South Africa’s complaint against the Zionist regime was issued on Friday, the 6th of Bahman, and based on it, the Zionist regime was required to take measures to prevent the genocide in Gaza.
