The refinery of “Rosneft” company burned down in a Ukrainian drone attack

According to Mehr News Agency to According to Reuters, Dmitry Azarov, the governor of Russia’s Samara region, announced in a statement that two oil refineries belonging to the “Rosneft” company located in this region were targeted by Ukrainian drones.
According to Azarov, the “Sizeran” refinery suffered a fire and the attack on the “Novokubyshev” refinery was neutralized. Also, the workers of both refineries have been evacuated and no victims or injuries have been reported.
Unreliable video images in the cyberspace show a massive fire in the Sizeran refinery. Ukraine recently targeted Russia’s oil infrastructure and attacked refineries in the European parts of this country.
This attack took place while Russia is holding presidential elections and today is the second day of these three-day elections. Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused Kiev of trying to sabotage the elections in which his victory seems certain.
