On the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, the people of Morocco stood up in support of the Palestinian nation by holding 125 demonstrations and protest gatherings in 60 cities of this country and demanded an end to the Zionist army's attack on the Gaza Strip. |
According to the international group Tasnim News Agency
, the non-governmental organization “Maghreb Committee for the Help of the Ummah” issued a statement: Maghreb citizens declared their solidarity with the residents of the Gaza Strip by organizing 125 anti-Zionist demonstrations in 60 cities on Friday.
Participants in this demonstration chanted slogans condemning the genocide of the residents of Gaza and the targeting of Palestinian citizens by the Zionist forces, and condemned the siege of the Gaza Strip, starving its residents, and the attempt to forcibly evacuate Palestinians.
According to this statement, Maghrebi protesters asked the international community to adhere to its responsibility to protect Palestinian citizens against the attacks of the Zionist regime.
According to the Anatolian news agency, Maghrebi citizens invited the non-governmental organization “Maghreb delegation to help the nation” in various cities of this country, including Bani Melal and Meknes (north). Dar al-Bayda, Jededeh (West) and Tashe (East) came to the streets and declared solidarity with the residents of Gaza. Supporting the residents of the Gaza Strip, they hold demonstrations every week and demand an end to the attacks of the Zionist military on Gaza as soon as possible and an end to the process of normalizing relations with Tel Aviv.
Morocco and the Zionist regime signed an agreement to normalize relations with the mediation of the United States in December 2020, and this agreement was widely opposed by the people and political parties of this country.
During the attack of the Zionist army on the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 31,490 people have been martyred and 72,000 people have been injured.
