According to al-Manar TV, Osama Hamdan, one of the senior members of the Hamas movement, said about the latest developments in Gaza: “There is a real opportunity to end the aggression and achieve a permanent ceasefire in front of us.
He added: The Zionist regime is aware of the large amount of damage and the heavy blow to its strategic security in the October 7 operation. Despite the invasion and destruction, the enemy has not reached any of its goals and the resistance is still capable in the field battle after 163 days.
Hamdan clarified: The resistance is still fighting in the places where the enemy army is praying to end the war and clean up the resistance, and this issue has become a crisis for the occupying army.
Referring to the prisoner exchange negotiations in Doha, Qatar, he emphasized: The Zionist regime’s cabinet will determine the range of powers of its negotiating team at the Qatar meeting, and based on that, we will determine the probability of reaching an agreement or its failure.
Hamdan noted: The field battle is not confined to Gaza and the enemy sees himself in front of a wide front. We have accepted the partial withdrawal of the occupying army from the Gaza Strip until an agreement is reached for a permanent cessation of aggression. In the first stage, the Hamas movement will determine the names of the sick Palestinian prisoners for release.
This senior member of Hamas also said: The cause of conflict and internal conflict in the occupied territories has increased the pressure on the Zionist regime and the tensions are deep and beyond what we see. All eyes are on the upcoming elections in the occupied territories and planning for the post-Netanyahu era has begun.
