Kremlin: American opinions about Russian elections are not important
The spokesperson of the Russian presidency announced that America's election stances confirm its enmity with Russia. |
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on Monday that Moscow rejects the American assessment of the Russian presidential election and does not intend to pay attention to it.
The spokesperson of the Russian presidency said: Russia categorically rejects this assessment. Peskov recalled that “Vladimir Putin,” the president of Russia, told reporters late yesterday evening that such assessments were completely expected and predictable.
Pskov added: Actually, this country is fighting against us. Obviously, it is difficult to expect other evaluations from it.
Kremlin spokesman emphasized: I say again: we strongly disagree with these assessments.
Earlier, an official of the US National Security Council announced to reporters that Washington considers the Russian presidential election to be unfree and unfair and strongly condemns it.
