Hamas confirmed the martyrdom of its commander

The Hamas movement confirmed this Monday that Fayeq al-Mabhouh, the head of internal security of the movement’s operation department in Gaza, was martyred during the attacks of the Israeli occupying forces on al-Shafa Hospital in Gaza City.

Hamas published a statement on its Telegram channel and wrote: This terrorist crime is another evidence of the Nazi enemy’s attempt to spread chaos, weaken social peace in the Gaza Strip, and continue the famine that our people are suffering from.

The Zionist army announced some time ago that it has martyred the commander of internal security operations in the Gaza Strip during a brutal attack on Al-Shafa hospital complex.

This morning, the Zionist regime targeted Al-Shafa Hospital with heavy artillery and aerial attacks. It is said that dozens of people were martyred and injured in these attacks and hundreds of people are surrounded in this hospital complex. The Zionist army has also arrested 80 Palestinians inside the Shafa hospital.

Following these attacks, the Gaza Ministry of Health demanded an end to the attacks on al-Shafa Hospital and the killing of innocent people.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said before the meeting with the war cabinet yesterday that he will not stop the war in Gaza despite the increase of “international pressure”.

A large number of martyrs of Gaza are still under the rubble and the medical staff cannot reach them due to the destruction of all roads. In this way, the number of victims of the Gaza war since October 7 has reached 31,700 martyrs and 7,3679 wounded. In the last 24 hours, the Zionist regime committed 9 new crimes by bombing the center of the Gaza Strip, targeting Palestinians waiting to receive humanitarian aid in the south of Gaza, which left around 200 martyrs and injured.

The occupying regime continues the war in Gaza for the 164th day in a row by heavily bombarding residential areas along with the policy of starving them, preventing humanitarian aid from reaching Palestinian refugees, and targeting people waiting in line to receive little aid. At the level of negotiations to achieve a ceasefire and exchange of prisoners, the Israeli delegation traveled to Qatar on Monday to follow indirect negotiations with Hamas in this regard.
