The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen expressed regret over the condemnation of the operations of this country’s armed forces in the Red and Arab seas in support of Gaza by the United Nations Security Council.
On Monday, members of the UN Security Council in a statement called for the Yemeni army to stop operations against commercial ships and to prevent further escalation of tensions.
In response to this statement, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry announced that the statement of the Security Council reflects the submission to the US demand to support the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
According to the Al-Mayadin report, it is further stated in Yemen’s statement that Yemen’s operations in the Red Sea and the Arab Sea are closely related to the events in Gaza, and this is an exceptional humanitarian situation that enjoys the support of the Yemeni people and all the people of the region and the world. /p>
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen also announced that the operation of the armed forces of this country will continue and this operation will be stopped only if the criminal aggression of the Zionist regime on Gaza stops and the blockade is lifted.
In this regard, Abdul Malik Al-Ajri, a member of Ansarullah’s political bureau and a member of the negotiating board of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, also called the recent statement of the Security Council about the operation of the Yemeni army against ships bound for the occupied territories “worthless”.
Al-Ajri further clarified: The Security Council, which is unable to stop the massacre in Gaza and impose international laws on Israel, cannot ask others to respect international laws.
The Yemeni army, following the war in Gaza and the full support of the United States and other allies of the Zionist regime for its blind military actions in this war, has targeted the ships associated with them in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden with missile and drone attacks, or has seized them, said that these retaliatory measures will continue until the attacks of the Zionist regime and its support stop.
Recently, America and England have carried out aggressive attacks on Yemeni soil under the pretext of stopping the attacks of the Yemeni army in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, which they claim were the targets of Ansarullah’s military installations and bases.
