Ashtiyeh: We do not accept any foreign presence in Gaza
The Prime Minister of the Palestinian Interim Government emphasized that this country is against any foreign presence in Gaza of any nationality, form, intention and motive. |
Mohammed Ashtiyeh, the Prime Minister of the interim cabinet of the Palestinian Authority, said yesterday Monday evening at the beginning of the government meeting in Ramallah: Some people want self-governance in Gaza and there are those who are trying to bring private security companies to work in Gaza. We warn against all this; Because this means violating the will of our people, and just as our people foiled all conspiracies, they will also defeat these attempts.
According to the report of Russia Al-Yum, Mohammad Ashtiyeh also warned about turning the waterway from a passage for importing bread into a way for Palestinian citizens to move.
He said: We will protect our national project and we will be a fence for the patriotism of the Palestinians on behalf of Mahmoud Abbas, and we are with him and with our partners from the national factions.
The Prime Minister of the Self-Governing Organization added: The occupying regime has lost all its elements and has started to collapse and is being destroyed. We will stick to it.
Ashtieh called on the world to take immediate action to end the suffering of the people of Gaza and not to stand by the criminal regime of Israel.
He said: After 164 days of killing, can’t you stop the rape and killing or are you complicit in it? Above all, I ask you to stop the rape. You cry for the hungry, but you don’t cry for the dead?! You yourself are the cause of people’s hunger and help to kill them. Stop giving arms to Israel, we are victims, our people are victims and anyone who supports criminals is an accomplice.
