Foreign ministers of EU countries have also made a formal decision to continue joint financing of military equipment and training for Ukraine. Monday’s decision is intended to guarantee support services such as the delivery of weapons and ammunition worth at least five billion euros. A basic political agreement on this matter was already reached last week.

In particular, a special support fund for Ukraine is to be created within the framework of the so-called European Peace Facility (EFF). This financial instrument can be used to repay military aid to EU member states from Ukraine attacked by Russia and to pay for joint orders.
