Germany will help Ukraine with another 500 million euros

A few hours ago, the European Union Council also announced that it approved the creation of the Ukraine Aid Fund (UAF). Following this decision, the Council of the European Union allocated 5 billion euros ($5.4 billion) for Ukraine.
This decision was made in the EU Foreign Relations Council in Brussels. In their meeting, European ministers discussed support for Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East.
The Council of the European Union announced that this fund will allow the European Union to provide more support to the growing needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This work is done through providing equipment and providing military training to these forces.
Since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war in February 2022, the European Union has aided Ukraine with more than 138 billion euros, of which 28 billion euros was military support.
