Local sources in “Paktika” province report the resumption of conflict between the Taliban and the Pakistani military in “Angur Ade” area of ”Barmal” city of this province.
According to the sources, the conflict started around 3:00 pm local time today.
The sources added that the clashes are still going on and both sides are using light and heavy weapons against each other.
So far, there are no details about the possible damage and casualties of this conflict, and the official sources of Pakistan and the Taliban have not said anything about it.
In the morning of Monday, March 28, Pakistani fighters attacked and bombed areas in several provinces by violating the airspace of Afghanistan.
Following these attacks, Taliban forces clashed with Pakistani soldiers in the provinces of Paktia, Khost and Paktika, but the clashes had stopped since last night with the mediation of the ethnic elders of both sides.
