The Director General of the Agency also met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani in Baghdad on Monday and said that the purpose of this meeting is to help the country to develop peaceful nuclear programs.
Al-Sudani also stated in this meeting that Iraq “was among the first countries that tried to join the agency and adhere to its agreements and to establish nuclear reactors for peaceful nuclear purposes, because Iraq believes that nuclear energy It should be the source of prosperity and not the development of deadly weapons.”
