China builds 20 new wells in the Amu oil field

The Minister of Mines and Petroleum of the Taliban government announced that the Chinese contracting company is going to build 20 new wells in the Amu Darya oil field.

Shahabuddin Delawar, the Minister of Mines and Petroleum of the Taliban government, in a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador in Kabul, Zhao Shink, discussed and exchanged opinions about the Aynak copper mine project, the Amu Darya oil project and bilateral cooperation.

Based on the announcement published by the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the Taliban government, Delaware said in this meeting: The work of the mentioned projects is going well, especially in the oil field. Amu Darya, which has a contract with a Chinese company. About 1400 tons of oil are extracted daily and 20 new wells are going to be drilled in this field and the level of oil extraction will increase in the Amu Darya oil field.

The two sides continued to talk about the Aynak copper mine project, discussed and exchanged opinions regarding the progress of the project and antiquities of the Aynak copper area, and put forward their opinions and suggestions to speed up and start the practical work of this project.
