Order to the Israeli negotiating team in Doha not to agree to a ceasefire

Hebrew Channel 14 reported that orders were given to the Israeli negotiating team in Qatar not to agree to a ceasefire.

Mossad head David Barnia returned to Qatar on Tuesday night after briefing the War Council on the current first round of negotiations with Hamas in Doha.

According to the report of Russia Elium, the proposal made in Qatar for a ceasefire includes a six-week ceasefire in exchange for the release of about 40 Israeli prisoners.

Hebrew Channel 14 has announced that the sensitive issue at the moment is the ceasefire, and the first proposal presented by Hamas to the mediators was to establish a ceasefire in exchange for the release of civilian prisoners.

The channel emphasized that clear instructions were given to the Israeli negotiating team in Doha not to agree to any scenario for a ceasefire.

Osame Hamdan, one of the leaders of Hamas, announced this Wednesday that the mediators conveyed Israel’s position on the proposal presented by the Hamas movement last week, indicating that the response was generally negative.
