Netanyahu’s office also said that the purpose of this trip is to hold a meeting in Doha with mediators to release Israeli prisoners.

In recent weeks, when the probability of the Zionist regime’s attack on Rafah has increased, the European Union has intensified its concern about the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, but has not taken any concrete action to force Tel Aviv to stop the war.

At their meeting today in Brussels, the heads of countries of this European body called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire that would lead to a lasting ceasefire.

The European Union also expressed its concern about the humanitarian situation in Gaza and stated, “We are appalled by the unprecedented loss of civilians and the critical humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.”

An Israeli delegation headed by David Barnia went to Doha on Monday of this week to negotiate with mediators about the ceasefire in Gaza and the release of Palestinian and Israeli prisoners, but returned to the occupied territories without any results.

Earlier, the Zionist official announced that Israel is expected to offer a six-week ceasefire in exchange for the release of 40 out of 100 Israeli prisoners.
