White House: Moscow was warned about a terrorist attack

The spokesperson of the National Security Council of the White House claimed that the Russian authorities were warned about a terrorist operation in Moscow in March.

The United States received information about the preparation of a terrorist attack in Moscow in March and shared it with the Russian side, RIA Novosti reported, citing the statements of Adrienne Watson, the spokesman for the White House National Security Council.

Earlier this month, the US government received information about a planned terrorist attack in Moscow, which was likely to take place in crowded places, including concerts, he said. This prompted the US State Department to issue a public warning to Americans stationed in Russia.

Larry Johnson, a former CIA and US State Department analyst, says the US was quick to absolve Ukraine of any connection to the terrorist attack in the Russian capital without knowing what really happened in Moscow. This shows that Washington has information about this attack, but has hidden this information from Moscow.

Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, also questioned the American statement on her Telegram channel and said: “On what basis do the Washington authorities draw conclusions about someone’s innocence in the midst of this incident?” If the United States has reliable information in this direction, then it should be immediately transferred to Russia. “fa fa-circle”/> International Europe and America
