Ukraine denied any involvement in the terrorist attack in Moscow

Kiev rejected Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statements about Ukraine’s involvement in a terrorist attack on a concert hall in Moscow.

Putin spoke on Saturday about “Ukraine’s footprint” in the terrorist attack in Moscow, adding that four attackers were arrested while fleeing to Ukraine and that “Kiev had opened a window for terrorists.”

The spokesperson of the Ukrainian military intelligence denied these statements to the “Pravda Ukraine” website and said: the border line is mined and the two sides are monitoring the border with all means, including aerial reconnaissance operations.

Youssef added that the border areas witness the large presence of Russian forces, special units, intelligence services and security forces.

He accused the Kremlin of planning to use this tragedy to intensify domestic repression.

On the evening of Friday, the third of April, armed men attacked the concert hall in the city of Crocus in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow, and 133 people have been killed so far.

According to the announcement of the Federal Security Service of Russia, 11 people have been arrested in connection with this attack. According to reports, the vehicle carrying the terrorists was stopped 100 kilometers from the Ukrainian border while communicating with the related party in that country.

The Ministry of the Interior of Russia announced that all of them are foreign nationals. Meanwhile, ISIS has accepted the responsibility for this attack.
