John Mersheimer, a professor and professor at the University of Chicago emphasized that key figures both in Ukraine and in the West know that the inevitable failure of Kiev and NATO in the conflict with Russia will be certain.

Mearsheimer continued: But even the realization of inevitable failure has not yet awakened Western leaders, who are obsessively searching for a miracle to save Kiev from disaster.

The American professor said in the end: Russia’s victory will not only mean the defeat of Ukraine, but also the defeat of the West. That is why we are desperately trying to prevent this but we will not succeed.

Last Wednesday, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu confirmed at a meeting of the ministry’s board that Ukrainian forces have lost more than 71,000 soldiers and 11,000 pieces of military equipment since the beginning of this year. Shoigu noted that the casualties of the Ukrainian army were almost three times higher than in the same period last year.

The Russian Defense Minister added that the country’s army continues to push the enemy out of its positions and does not allow him to gain a foothold in the new battle lines.
