Palestinian lawyer Rami Abdo tells Anatoly: “Israeli occupiers have committed horrible and unfortunate crimes and actions in al-Shifa hospital and its surroundings.”
Al-Shifa Medical Complex has been under complete siege by the Israeli army for several days, and according to eyewitnesses, the Israeli soldiers shoot anyone who walks around this hospital.
Abda continues: “The Israeli army has illegally used Palestinians as human shields. He made them take off their clothes and forced them to go out.”
He continues: “The army has killed women, men and children, which is a clear violation of international laws and protocols.”
The Israeli army recently announced in a statement that it martyred 170 Palestinians in al-Shifa Hospital and arrested around 800 others.
This Palestinian lawyer also points out that Israeli forces have set fire to several houses around al-Shifa and some parts of the same hospital in the past few days.
A medical staff member of al-Shifa Hospital told the Palestinian media yesterday that after illegally entering the hospital, the Israeli forces set fire to medicine cabinets and some departments of the hospital, including the specialized surgery department.
“Jamila Al-Heisi” from the Palestinian refugees in Shafa Hospital also told Al Jazeera last night that the Israeli forces set fire to some Palestinian families and raped several Palestinian women and then killed them.
