The revelation of the European media about the deadly operation of the French border guard against immigrants

The publication of new documents and films by several European newspapers revealed the deadly actions of French border guards against migrants in the English Channel.

The release of new documents and films by several European newspapers revealed the aggressive and deadly actions of French border guards against British-funded migrants in the English Channel.

According to the Guardian newspaper, newly obtained footage and documents leaked by the Observer, Le Monde and Spiegel newspapers show that French border forces are pushing back small migrant boats in the English Channel with aggressive tactics, putting passengers’ lives at risk.

The English Channel, as one of the busiest waterways in the world, is a part of the Atlantic Ocean that connects it to the North Sea and is located in the north of France and the south of England.

According to leaked documents, British government-backed French police are endangering the lives of migrants in small boats in the English Channel, using tactics that experts say could cause mass death.

This shocking evidence shows for the first time that the French Maritime Border Police is trying to change the direction of the small boats in a sudden and aggressive manner and prevent them from reaching the British coast.

According to the published videos and the testimony of some witnesses, the French forces caused the water to enter the small boat by turning a boat carrying migrants violently. Another video shows how French border guards threaten travelers with pepper spray to return.

In another video, the French forces from the patrol boat, which was bought with British government funding according to leaked documents, puncture the migrants’ boat and force them to swim.

It is said that although the French authorities have previously rejected the British request to prevent migrants from entering the country’s shores, evidence shows that the use of aggressive measures against migrants has increased since last summer.

Reports indicate that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has pledged to stop migrant boats crossing the English Channel and has promised France to pay hundreds of millions of pounds for extra care and border guards.

On Wednesday last week, the security bill of the Rwandan government (asylum and immigration) was defeated in the British House of Lords for the umpteenth time, and Sunak’s plan to fly to this African country in order to transport migrants until after Easter (March 31, corresponding to April 12) ) was postponed.

Sonak cabinet ministers claim that this bill acts as a deterrent against immigrants who intend to come to England from northern France.

Following the publication of reports on the offensive operations of the French forces, two senior British Border Force sources confirmed that these tactics could lead to many deaths and injuries.

One of the operational officials of the British Border Force said in this context: “If the blades of the French police patrol boat come into contact with the migrant boat, it will split it in half.”

On the other hand, several informed sources in the French Ministry of Interior described the British government’s pressure on the French maritime police to prevent small boats from leaving French waters as “intense” and “relentless”.

According to reports, since 2014, England has allocated more than 700 million pounds to France to prevent illegal immigration.

Meanwhile, the spokesman of the British Ministry of Interior has announced that he will do whatever is necessary to end illegal immigration through the English Channel.

The ministry has announced in a statement: “We are still committed to creating successes as we saw a drop of more than a third of entries last year. “Not only have we defined more difficult rules and agreements with international partners, but we continue to work closely with our French counterparts who are working tirelessly to save lives and stop the boats.”
