Pakistan Navy announced that after receiving an emergency call from an Iranian fishing boat in the open sea, it managed to save all its eight passengers.
According to the public relations of the Pakistan Navy, the military ship “Yarmouk” belonging to this country’s navy received an emergency call from an Iranian boat that was on fire in the open waters.
The personnel of the Pakistani ship arrived on time and extinguished the fire while rescuing the eight Iranian passengers of the boat.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Mudassar Tippoo, also said in a message that an Iranian boat with eight passengers caught fire yesterday, and after that a distress alert was sent to a Pakistani naval ship in the area.

Referring to the rescue of Iranian fishermen, he added: Iran and Pakistan are committed to stand by each other.
