reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Mayadin, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia issued a statement announcing that it welcomes the approval of the ceasefire resolution in the Gaza Strip in the Security Council.
The statement of the Saudi Foreign Ministry emphasized: We again ask the international community to take responsibility for stopping Israeli attacks on civilians in Gaza.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt also welcomed the adoption of the ceasefire resolution in the Gaza Strip.
This ministry issued a statement and announced: The approval of the ceasefire resolution in the Gaza Strip in the Security Council is the first important and necessary step to stop the bloodshed and end the casualties of Palestinian civilians.
Cairo emphasized: We demand the immediate implementation of the ceasefire in a way that will open the way to deal with all the factors of the crisis.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian Authority also announced that we welcome the efforts of the Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people who are at risk of genocide.
The statement said: “The adoption of the resolution for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is a step in the right direction for a complete and lasting cessation of aggression.” We ask the member states of the Security Council to fulfill their legal and historical responsibilities for the immediate implementation of the resolution.
The Foreign Minister of the Palestinian Authority also emphasized the importance of intensifying international efforts to establish a permanent and sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip beyond the month of Ramadan.
