Ireland: Israel is using famine as a weapon of war

Ireland's foreign minister criticized the Zionist regime for preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza.

Ireland is always known as the biggest supporter of the Palestinian people in the European Union because it has been oppressed by the British for many years. The Gaza war once again showed that the Dublin authorities, unlike other Western countries, are still based on their humanitarian beliefs.

According to Al Jazeera, Ireland’s Foreign Minister Michael Martin today (Monday) criticized the extensive military operation of the Zionist regime against the Palestinians and the killing of civilians in Gaza and said: Israel is using famine as a weapon of war.

He wrote about this on his personal page on the X social network (former Twitter): Israel’s action in preventing UNRWA aid from being sent to northern Gaza is completely unacceptable. Regarding humanitarian access to Gaza, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has made it very clear that blocking the delivery of humanitarian aid is a clear immoral act.

This message adds: Using famine as a weapon of war is a clear violation of international humanitarian law.

Antonio Guterres expressed his concern about the danger of famine in Gaza, and called for massive humanitarian aid to be sent to this strip, especially to its northern areas.

Contrary to today’s resolution of the Security Council, which demanded the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, the Zionist authorities are angry with the approval of this resolution, especially since this resolution failed to make the establishment of a ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza conditional on the freedom Zionist prisoners.
