Amnesty International: Israel should immediately stop the barbaric bombing of Gaza

The director of Amnesty International emphasized that Israel should immediately stop the barbaric bombing of Gaza by establishing a temporary ceasefire.

Agnes Kalamar, the director of Amnesty International, welcomed the UN resolution on the Gaza Strip and called for an immediate stop to the barbaric bombardment by Israel and the establishment of a lasting ceasefire.

Callamar wrote on the X social network on Monday night: Israel must immediately stop the brutal bombing of Gaza and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid. Israel, Hamas and other armed groups must ensure that the ceasefire is sustainable. The civilian hostages, as well as all Palestinians who have been arbitrarily detained, must be released immediately.

He added: In recent weeks, voting in the UN Security Council turned into a ridiculous political game with tragic consequences for civilians, so that the permanent members of the council, including the United States and Russia, abused their veto rights to prevent each other’s resolutions. .

Amnesty International Director emphasized: The international community must now put aside the political game and prioritize saving human lives by making sure that this resolution paves the way for a lasting ceasefire.

The immediate ceasefire resolution in Gaza was finally approved after nearly 6 months of war in Gaza on Monday local time, April 6, 1403, equal to March 25, 2024, in the UN Security Council, which called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The month of Ramadan has come to lead to a lasting ceasefire.
