United Nations: Israel should allow food items to enter northern Gaza

The United Nations called for the cancellation of Tel Aviv's decision to prevent the entry of food items into northern Gaza by UNRWA.

In order to intensify the pressure on the people of Gaza and continue the genocide in this strip, the Zionist regime has announced its decision to prevent UNRWA food trucks from entering northern Gaza. . However, international authorities, pointing to the widespread famine in this region, demand that Israel reconsider this issue.

According to Al Jazeera, the United Nations Human Rights Office today (Tuesday) asked the Zionist regime to reconsider its decision to prevent food items from entering northern Gaza.

Janes Lark, the spokesperson of this organization, told the media: We want Israel to cancel its decision to prevent UNRWA food aid from entering northern Gaza. Palestinians in this region are now struggling with death due to famine.

He pointed out: Israel cannot claim that it adheres to international humanitarian laws and at the same time hinder UNRWA’s relief activities to northern Gaza.

UNRWA, which is the largest aid organization for Palestinians inside and outside the Palestinian territory, plays an important role in distributing humanitarian aid and fighting famine in Gaza with 30,000 employees. However, with the aim of narrowing the circle of pressure on the Palestinians, the Zionist authorities cut off international aid from Western countries to this organization by alleging the participation of UNRWA employees in the October 7th attack.
