Anatoly Antonov, Russia’s ambassador to the United States, said yesterday that the Moscow embassy has been content with “temporary” contacts with the U.S. government since last Friday’s terrorist attack in Moscow. After the start of the war in Ukraine, Washington cut almost all its relations with Moscow. Antonov said in August last year that there are only “minor issues” in the relations between the two countries, including the emergency de-escalation line in Syria, space exploration, and work on the issue of non-disclosure of weapons of mass destruction.
