Le Pen: The hands of the Macron government are in the pockets of the French

The head of the French far-right party announced that the Paris government is reaching into people's pockets to compensate for its mistakes.

Marine Le Pen, head of the far-right French party, announced on Thursday that the reforms of the Paris government in the field of social security for the unemployed are an attempt to reach into the pockets of the French to reduce the national budget deficit.

Le Pen wrote in a message on the X social network: Social security reform for the unemployed is a fraud with one goal: pickpocketing the French to save public accounts that are facing a deficit due to the incompetence of the authorities.

French Prime Minister Gabriel Atal said on Wednesday that the French government will implement social security reforms for the unemployed in 2024. These reforms will include the reduction of the prescribed unemployment payment period from 18 months to less than 12 months.

The statements of the French Prime Minister were made after the publication of the report on the budget deficit of the French government. This report showed that the budget deficit in this country reached 5.5% of GDP in 2023, which was 0.6% more than the forecast of the French Ministry of Finance.

The French Prime Minister said that the only purpose of the new reforms is to convince the French to return to work.
