Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina announced that NATO member countries are not ready to discuss sending ground troops to Ukraine.
The prime minister of Latvia, who visited Germany, said in a conversation with the media: “As for the troops, I don’t think this initiative is very well prepared.”
Silina said in a joint press conference with the German chancellor: I swear, we in NATO are not ready to do this.
Latvian Prime Minister emphasized that NATO should focus on Ukraine’s needs, not on what Ukraine does not ask for.
