The strange action of the Iranian ambassador in Baku/ Resign for the honor of Iran

According to Tasnim News Agency, the interview of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baku with a female reporter in the Republic Azerbaijan has faced many negative reactions from fans of Iran and the Islamic Republic.

This conversation took place inside the Iranian embassy in Baku; From a legal point of view, the inside of the embassy of any country, in terms of regulations, laws and relations, is considered as the soil of that country, and the officials of the embassies of our country can, and of course, it is better to say, they must observe the customs of Islamic Iran.

Nevertheless, the female reporter appeared in this conversation without a hijab, and worse, with an appearance even lower than the official customary clothing of women in countries where observing the hijab is not a legal requirement, which is a form of insult. It is considered to be relations within the soil of Iran. But unfortunately, the Iranian ambassador did this insult without any reaction.

This reporter also placed the flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan next to him, while basically a reporter of a country is not considered an official official of that country who wants to perform such ceremonies for himself. Carrying out such ceremonies for a journalist is a kind of insult to the Iranian official in that country, and unfortunately, this has not met with a dignified response from the Iranian ambassador.

Besides many formal problems, the ambassador’s interview also faced many content problems; In such a way that Mr. Mousavi did not answer the pointed and problematic questions of the female reporter with appropriate and correct answers from the position of dignity and truth, but also treated him from a position of accusation and acceptance of weakness.

Previously, in another case, one of Iran’s ambassadors in a European country was dismissed due to his carelessness in the way he accepted some guests and did not respect Iranian customs. We hope that Mr. Abbas Mousavi, the ambassador of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan, because of this bad mistake and because he showed in his interview that he may not be able to properly defend the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will give his place to another person who is free from these mistakes and Lack of capabilities in sensitive relations with a country in the region.
