Signing the contract for the construction of the 4th section of the Khov-Herat railway with the Russian company

The current government of Afghanistan announced that it has signed a contract with a Russian company for the construction of the fourth section of the Khaf-Herat railway.

According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, the Office of the Economic Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban government announced in a statement The Afghanistan Railway Authority and the Russian company “Gama” signed the contract for the second phase of the fourth section of the Khawaf-Herat railway. This $53 million contract was attended by “Molabrader”, the economic deputy of the prime minister and some officials of the Taliban government. Also, “Iyalya Kazakov”, the deputy of the Russian Railways, was signed.

Kazakov met and talked with “Bakhtur Rahman Sharaft”, the head of the railway department of the current government of Afghanistan, during his trip to Kabul.
