The arrest of an armed person in Malaysia on suspicion of spying for the Zionist regime
The Malaysian police arrested an Israeli who entered the country with a fake passport and was carrying a large number of weapons, on suspicion of spying for the Zionist regime. |
Malaysia says it has arrested a suspected spy who was carrying 6 guns and 200 rounds of ammunition. It is said that this person had arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport from the UAE on March 12 (March 22), and the authorities believed that his French passport was fake.
According to Reuters, the Inspector General of the Malaysian Police announced that the said person handed over his Israeli passport after interrogation.
It is said that the police are investigating the possibility that the arrested person is a member of the Zionist intelligence agencies. However, the suspect claimed that he entered Malaysia to pursue another Zionist due to family disputes. The police also announced that this person has stayed in several different hotels after entering Malaysia.
Currently, reports suggest that following the man’s arrest, authorities are on high alert and security measures have been increased for Malaysia’s King Anwar Ibrahim and other high-ranking officials.
It should be said, Malaysia is a Muslim majority country and one of the supporters of Palestine. This country, which has repeatedly criticized the actions of the Zionist regime in the Gaza war, hosts about 600 Palestinian refugees.
In 2018, a Palestinian scientist was shot dead by two unknown men in the capital of Malaysia. Hamas later announced that Mossad was behind this attack.
