CNN reported the talks between Washington and Tel Aviv about a possible attack on Rafah

Senior American and Zionist officials plan to discuss possible military operations in Rafah city on Monday in Washington.

CNN news agency, quoting informed American sources, says that on Monday, high-level talks between American and Zionist officials regarding a possible ground attack on Rafah will be held.

According to this news agency, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, canceled these negotiations earlier because the United States did not veto the Security Council resolution regarding the Gaza ceasefire. But later, the Zionist delegation suggested that the negotiations be postponed to Monday.

The White House says it supports rescheduling the talks and is working to get them done on time.

Discussions regarding a possible attack on Rafah will take place between the American and Zionist sides while the Biden administration has quietly authorized the transfer of billions of dollars of bombs and fighter jets to the Zionist regime.

It is said that Washington’s new weapons package for the occupation regime includes more than 1,800 2,000-pound MK84 bombs, which have high destructive power and are not used in civilian areas with high population.

Earlier, the media reported that the Zionist regime has not given up on the ground attack and plans to carry out this act of aggression after the month of Ramadan. Egyptian sources say the ground assault on Rafah, which now houses half of Gaza’s population, is planned for mid-April or early May at the latest and will last between 4 and 8 weeks.
