Seljuq Birgdar, technical director of Baykar drone company and son-in-law of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, did not reject his candidacy for the upcoming presidential elections.
He said about the possibility of Erdogan asking him to participate in the upcoming elections: I may agree, but it depends on the circumstances.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on March 8 that the upcoming municipal elections, which will be held on March 31, will be the last elections in his political life.
Later, Omar Celik, the spokesman of the ruling Justice and Development Party, pointed out that Erdogan’s comments did not mean his retirement from politics.
