A hostage situation in the Netherlands

The spokesperson of the city of “Ade” in the Netherlands announced that several people were taken hostage in a cafe.

The Dutch police also announced that the residents of 150 houses around this place have been evacuated and moved to safe places.

Ede municipality also announced that the center of this city is also closed.

Anti-riot police and explosives experts have been sent to the place.

Police said it was not yet clear how many people were taken hostage. But reports indicate that at least five people have been taken hostage.
