How do Muslims pray to God on the Laylat al-Qadr?
Allah has bestowed Muslims with some specially blessed hours throughout the year that are basically an opportunity to seek His blessings and deliverance from hell. One of these heavenly hours is Shab e Qadr. The night that comes only once a year and purifies your energies from all that is evil.
So, what does laylatul qadr mean exactly? Well, Qadr means Power or Fate in Arabic. It is the night of sacredness and divinity. It is called Laylatul Qadr because in this night the rules of the whole year are implemented and the angels are assigned to the works of the entire year.
The night has also been said to have a privilege over the other nights of the year given its blessed nature and so because of its nobleness and importance, the word Qadar is attached to it. Apart from that, it is also narrated that since good deeds are accepted in this night and they are appreciated in the court of Allah, the night is referred to as Laylat al Qadr.
On the night of Qadr, the Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad, may God bless her and grant her peace.
One of the prayers that Muslims perform on this night is reciting Jawshan Kabir.
The text of Jawshan Kabir ( joshan kabir) prayer in English and Arabic:
بِسم اللهِ الرَحمنِ الرَحیم
In the name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful
1- TO OVERCOME DIFFICULTIES
اَللّهُمَّ اِنّى اَسْئَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
يا اَللّهُ يا رَحْمنُ
O Allah, O Most Merciful,
يا رَحيمُ يا كَريمُ
O Most Compassionate, O Most Generous,
يا مُقيمُ يا عَظيمُ
O Self-Subsisting, O Greatest,
يا قَديمُ يا عَليمُ
O Eternal, O All-Knowing,
يا حَليمُ يا حَكيمُ
O Forbearing, O Wise.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
2- TO SEEK HELP
يا سَيِّدَ السّاداتِ، يا مُجيبَ الدَّعَواتِ
O Master of Masters, O Acceptor of prayers,
يا رافِعَ الدَّرَجاتِ يا وَلِىَّ الْحَسَناتِ
O Elevator of rank, O Guardian of good deeds,
يا غافِرَ الْخَطيئاَّتِ يا مُعْطِىَ الْمَسْئَلاتِ
O Forgiver of evil deeds, O Granter of requests,
يا قابِلَ التَّوْباتِ يا سامِعَ الاْصْواتِ
O Acceptor of repentance, O Hearer of voices,
يا عالِمَ الْخَفِيّاتِ يا دافِعَ الْبَلِيّاتِ
O Knower of attributes, O Repeller of calamities.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

3- TO ATTAIN HONOR, DIGNITY
يا خَيْرَالْغافِرينَ يا خَيْرَ الْفاتِحينَ
O Best of forgivers, O Best of deciders,
يا خَيْرَ النّاصِرينَ يا خَيْرَ الْحاكِمينَ
O Best of helpers, O Best of rulers,
يا خَيْرَ الرّازِقينَ يا خَيْرَ الْوارِثينَ
O Best of providers, O Best of inheritors,
يا خَيْرَ الْحامِدينَ يا خَيْرَ الذّاكِرينَ
O Best of praisers, O Best of rememberers,
يا خَيْرَ الْمُنْزِلينَ يا خَيْرَ الْمُحْسِنينَ
O Best of Dischargers, O Best of benefactors.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

4- TO ACQUIRE NOBILITY
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْعِزَّةُ وَ الْجَمَالُ
O He, to Whom is all glory and virtue,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْقُدْرَةُ وَ الْکَمَالُ
O He, to Whom is all might and perfection,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْمُلْکُ وَ الْجَلالُ
O He, to Whom is all dominion and sublimity,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ الْکَبِیرُ الْمُتَعَالِ
O He, Who is great above all,
یَا مُنْشِئَ السَّحَابِ الثِّقَالِ
O He, Who creates heavy clouds,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ شَدِیدُ الْمِحَالِ
O He, Who is the most powerful,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ سَرِیعُ الْحِسَابِ
O He, Who metes out the severest punishment,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ شَدِیدُ الْعِقَابِ
O He, Who is quick to reckon,
یَا مَنْ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ
O He, with Whom is the excellent reward,
یَا مَنْ عِنْدَهُ اَمُّ الْکِتَابِ
O He, with Whom is the Original Book.

5- TO ACHIEVE RENOWN, SUCCESS
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ

یَا حَنَّانُ یَا مَنَّانُ
O Charitable One, O Benefactor,
یَا دَیَّانُ یَا بُرْهَانُ
O Judge, O Proof,
یَا سُلْطَانُ یَا رِضْوَانُ
O Sovereign, O Approver,
یَا غُفْرَانُ یَا سُبْحَانُ
O Forgiver, O Elevated One,
یَا مُسْتَعَانُ یَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَ الْبَیَانِ
O Helper, O Holder of blessings and manifestation.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

6- TO OBTAIN BLESSINGS, RANKS
یَا مَنْ تَوَاضَعَ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ
O He before Whose greatness everything bows,
یَا مَنِ اسْتَسْلَمَ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ
O He before Whose power everything submits,
یَا مَنْ ذَلَّ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ
O He before Whose might overshadows everything,
یَا مَنْ خَضَعَ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ لِهَیْبَتِهِ
O He before Whose awesomeness everything is humbled,
یَا مَنِ انْقَادَ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ مِنْ خَشْیَتِهِ
O He before Whose fearsomeness everything yields,
یَا مَنْ تَشَقَّقَتِ الْجِبَالُ مِنْ مَخَافَتِهِ
O He before Whose terribleness mountains shake,
یَا مَنْ قَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ بِاَمْرِهِ
O He before Whose command the heavens are raised,
یَا مَنِ اسْتَقَرَّتِ الْاَرَضُونَ بِاِذْنِهِ
O He through Whose permission the earths are secured,
یَا مَنْ یُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ
O He Whose glory the thunder proclaims,
یَا مَنْ لا یَعْتَدِی عَلَى اَهْلِ مَمْلَکَتِهِ
O He Who is never cruel to his subjects.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

7- TO DISPERSE CALAMITIES
یَا غَافِرَ الْخَطَایَا یَا کَاشِفَ الْبَلایَا
O Forgiver of sins, O Dispeller of tribulations,
یَا مُنْتَهَى الرَّجَایَا یَا مُجْزِلَ الْعَطَایَا
O Aim of hopes, O Giver of abundant gifts,
یَا وَاهِبَ الْهَدَایَا یَا رَازِقَ الْبَرَایَا
O Bestower of bounties, O Provider of creatures,
یَا قَاضِیَ الْمَنَایَا یَا سَامِعَ الشَّکَایَا
O Judge of destinies, O Hearer of complaints,
یَا بَاعِثَ الْبَرَایَا یَا مُطْلِقَ الْاُسَارَى
O Resurrector of creatures, O Freer of captives.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

8- TO ASK PARDON
یَا ذَا الْحَمْدِ وَ الثَّنَاءِ
O He, to Whom is due all praise and adoration,
یَا ذَا الْفَخْرِ وَ الْبَهَاءِ
O He, Who holds all pride and eminence,
یَا ذَا الْمَجْدِ وَ السَّنَاءِ
O He, Who holds all honour and rank,
یَا ذَا الْعَهْدِ وَ الْوَفَاءِ
O He, Who makes promises and honours them,
یَا ذَا الْعَفْوِ وَ الرِّضَاءِ
O He, Who pardons and is content,
یَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَ الْعَطَاءِ
O He, Who holds all abundance and provides,
یَا ذَا الْفَصْلِ وَ الْقَضَاءِ
یَا ذَا الْعِزِّ وَ الْبَقَاءِ
O He, Who is glorious and eternal,
یَا ذَا الْجُودِ وَ السَّخَاءِ
O He, Who is liberal and munificent,
یَا ذَا الْآلاءِ وَ النَّعْمَاءِ
O He, Who holds all blessings and bounties,
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

9- TO CLEAR AWAY FEAR, DISEASE
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا مَانِعُ یَا دَافِعُ
O Preventer of misfortune, O Repeller of calamities,
یَا رَافِعُ یَا صَانِعُ
O Elevator of rank, O Fashioner,
یَا نَافِعُ یَا سَامِعُ
O Benefiter, O Hearer,
یَا جَامِعُ یَا شَافِعُ
O Aggregator, O Intercessor,
یَا وَاسِعُ یَا مُوسِعُ
O Magnanimous, O Increaser.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

10- TO GET CONDUCT APPROVED
یَا صَانِعَ کُلِّ مَصْنُوعٍ
O Fashioner of every fashioned thing,
یَا خَالِقَ کُلِّ مَخْلُوقٍ
O Creator of every created thing,
یَا رَازِقَ کُلِّ مَرْزُوقٍ
O Provider for every needy thing,
یَا مَالِکَ کُلِّ مَمْلُوکٍ
O Sovereign over all subjects,
یَا کَاشِفَ کُلِّ مَکْرُوبٍ
O Dispeller of every hardship,
یَا فَارِجَ کُلِّ مَهْمُومٍ
O Comforter of every griever,
یَا رَاحِمَ کُلِّ مَرْحُومٍ
O Merciful to every sufferer,
یَا نَاصِرَ کُلِّ مَخْذُولٍ
O Helper of everything forsaken,
یَا سَاتِرَ کُلِّ مَعْیُوبٍ
O Concealer of every blemished thing,
یَا مَلْجَاَ کُلِّ مَطْرُودٍ
O Shelter for every exile.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

11- TO AVOID EVIL AND GAIN PROSPERITY
یَا عُدَّتِی عِنْدَ شِدَّتِی
O Provider in my hardship,
یَا رَجَائِی عِنْدَ مُصِیبَتِی
O Source of Hope in my misfortune,
یَا مُونِسِی عِنْدَ وَحْشَتِی
O Companion in my isolation,
یَا صَاحِبِی عِنْدَ غُرْبَتِی
O Fellow Traveller in my journey,
یَا وَلِیِّی عِنْدَ نِعْمَتِی
O Friend in my ease,
یَا غِیَاثِی عِنْدَ کُرْبَتِی
O Rescuer from my trials,
یَا دَلِیلِی عِنْدَ حَیْرَتِی
O Guide in my errancy,
یَا غَنَائِی عِنْدَ افْتِقَارِی
O Resource in my neediness,
یَا مَلْجَئِی عِنْدَ ضْطِرَارِی
O Shelter in my helplessness,
یَا مُعِینِی عِنْدَ مَفْزَعِی
O Deliverer from my fears.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

12- TO DISMISS AFFLICTION AND SECURE GOOD FORTUNE
یَا عَلامَ الْغُیُوبِ یَا غَفَّارَ الذُّنُوبِ
O Knower of the unseen, O Forgiver of sins,
یَا سَتَّارَ الْعُیُوبِ یَا کَاشِفَ الْکُرُوبِ
O Concealer of defects, O Expeller of pain,
یَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ یَا طَبِیبَ الْقُلُوبِ
O Transformer of the heart, O Physician of the heart,
یَا مُنَوِّرَ الْقُلُوبِ یَا اَنِیسَ الْقُلُوبِ
O Illuminator of the heart, O Intimate of the heart,
یَا مُفَرِّجَ الْهُمُومِ یَا مُنَفِّسَ الْغُمُومِ
O Dispeller of anxiety, O Liberator from grief.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

13- TO CURE EYE DISEASE
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا جَلِیلُ یَا جَمِیلُ
O Glorious, O Virtuous,
یَا وَکِیلُ یَا کَفِیلُ
O Protector, O Patron,
یَا دَلِیلُ یَا قَبِیلُ
O Guide, O Guarantor,
یَا مُدِیلُ یَا مُنِیلُ
O Bestower of Wealth, O Bestower of blessings,
یَا مُقِیلُ یَا مُحِیلُ
O Bestower of strength, O Acceptor of repentance.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

14- TO INCREASE HEALTH
یَا دَلِیلَ الْمُتَحَیِّرِینَ یَا غِیَاثَ الْمُسْتَغِیثِینَ
O Guide of the waylaid, O Rescuer of those who appeal,
یَا صَرِیخَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِینَ یَا جَارَ الْمُسْتَجِیرِینَ
O Helper of those who call, O Aider of those who call,
یَا اَمَانَ الْخَائِفِینَ یَا عَوْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ
O Shelter of the fearful, O Succourer of the faithful,
یَا رَاحِمَ الْمَسَاکِینِ یَا مَلْجَاَ الْعَاصِینَ
O Merciful to the indigent, O Refuge for the disobedient,
یَا غَافِرَ الْمُذْنِبِینَ یَا مُجِیبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّینَ
O Forgiver of the sinner, O Responder to the supplicant.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

15- TO ASK FOR MORE BENEFITS
یَا ذَا الْجُودِ وَ الْاِحْسَانِ
O Master of liberality and beneficence,
یَا ذَا الْفَضْلِ وَ الامْتِنَانِ
O Most gracious and obliging,
یَا ذَا الْاَمْنِ وَ الْاَمَانِ
O Master of peace and security,
یَا ذَا الْقُدْسِ وَ السُّبْحَانِ
O Most holy and above all defects,
یَا ذَا الْحِکْمَةِ وَ الْبَیَانِ
O Master of wisdom and manifestation,
یَا ذَا الرَّحْمَةِ وَ الرِّضْوَانِ
O Master of mercy and satisfaction,
یَا ذَا الْحُجَّةِ وَ الْبُرْهَانِ
O Master of argument and proof,
یَا ذَا الْعَظَمَةِ وَ السُّلْطَانِ
O Master of gradeur and sovereignty,
یَا ذَا الرَّأْفَةِ وَ الْمُسْتَعَانِ
O Master of kindness and succour,
یَا ذَا الْعَفْوِ وَ الْغُفْرَانِ
O Master of pardon and forgiveness.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

16- TO SOLVE PROBLEMS
یَا مَنْ هُوَ رَبُّ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is the Lord over all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ اِلَهُ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is the God of all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ خَالِقُ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is the Creator of all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ صَانِعُ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is the Fashioner of all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ قَبْلَ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is the Preceder of all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ بَعْدَ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is the Succeeder of all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فَوْقَ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is above all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ عَالِمٌ بِکُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who knows all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى کُلِّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is Powerful over all things,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ یَبْقَى وَ یَفْنَى کُلُّ شَیْءٍ
O He, Who is the Sustainer and Extinguisher of all things,
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

17- TO SUCCEED IN ALL TASKS
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا مُؤْمِنُ یَا مُهَیْمِنُ
O Securer of safety, O Protector,
یَا مُکَوِّنُ یَا مُلَقِّنُ
O Bestower of being, O Bestower of knowledge,
یَا مُبَیِّنُ یَا مُهَوِّنُ
O Manifestor, O Facilitator,
یَا مُمَکِّنُ یَا مُزَیِّنُ
O Provider of place, O Adorner,
یَا مُعْلِنُ یَا مُقَسِّمُ
O Proclaimer, O Distributor
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

18- TO INCREASE LIVELIHOOD
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی مُلْکِهِ مُقِیمٌ
O Everylasting in His Kingdom,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی سُلْطَانِهِ قَدِیمٌ
O Eternal in His sovereignty,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی جَلالِهِ عَظِیمٌ
O Greatest in His grandeur,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ رَحِیمٌ
O Most Merciful to His servants,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ بِکُلِّ شَیْءٍ عَلِیمٌ
O Knower of everything,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ بِمَنْ عَصَاهُ حَلِیمٌ
O Forbearing to he who disobeys Him,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ بِمَنْ رَجَاهُ کَرِیمٌ
O Magnanimous to he places his hope in Him,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی صُنْعِهِ حَکِیمٌ
O He Who is Wise over what He has fashioned,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی حِکْمَتِهِ لَطِیفٌ
O He Who is Subtle in his Wisdom,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی لُطْفِهِ قَدِیمٌ
O He Who is Eternal in His Kindness.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ

19- TO ATTAIN DISTINCTION
یَا مَنْ لا یُرْجَى اِلا فَضْلُهُ
O He, from Whom no hope is entertained save by His Grace,
یَا مَنْ لا یُسْاَلُ اِلا عَفْوُهُ
O He, from Whom nothing is begged save His Pardon,
یَا مَنْ لا یُنْظَرُ اِلا بِرُّهُ
O He, of Whom nothing is seen save His Goodness,
یَا مَنْ لا یُخَافُ اِلا عَدْلُهُ
O He, from Whom nothing is feared save His Justice,
یَا مَنْ لا یَدُومُ اِلا مُلْکُهُ
O He, Whose sovereignty alone of eternal,
یَا مَنْ لا سُلْطَانَ اِلا سُلْطَانُهُ
O He, Who alone has true majesty,
یَا مَنْ وَسِعَتْ کُلَّ شَیْءٍ رَحْمَتُهُ
O He, Whose blessings extend to all,
یَا مَنْ سَبَقَتْ رَحْمَتُهُ غَضَبَهُ
O He, Whose Wrath is surpassed by His Mercy,
یَا مَنْ اَحَاطَ بِکُلِّ شَیْءٍ عِلْمُهُ
O He, Whose knowledge encompasses everything,
یَا مَنْ لَیْسَ اَحَدٌ مِثْلَهُ
O He, Who is without equal,
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee. The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
20- TO DISPERSE WORRIES
یَا فَارِجَ الْهَمِّ یَا کَاشِفَ الْغَمِّ
O Remover of anxiety, O Expeller of sorrow,
یَا غَافِرَ الذَّنْبِ یَا قَابِلَ التَّوْبِ
O Forgiver of sins, O Acceptor of repentance,
یَاخَالِقَ الْخَلْقِ یَا صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ
O Creator of creatures, O Truthful in promises,
یَا مُوفِیَ الْعَهْدِ یَا عَالِمَ السِّرِّ
O Fulfiller of promises, O Knower of secrets,
یَا فَالِقَ الْحَبِّ یَا رَازِقَ الْاَنَامِ
O Splitter of seed, O Provider for creatures.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
21- TO ASK FOR PARDON
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا عَلِیُّ یَا وَفِیُّ
O High, O Perfect,
یَا غَنِیُّ یَا مَلِیُّ
O Independent, O Rich,
یَا حَفِیُّ یَا رَضِیُّ
O Kind, O Agreeable,
یَا زَکِیُّ یَا بَدِیُّ
O Purifier, O Eternal,
یَا قَوِیُّ یَا وَلِیُّ
O Mighty, O Friend.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
22- TO INCREASE LIVELIHOOD
یَا مَنْ اَظْهَرَ الْجَمِیلَ
O He, Who reveals virtue, O He, Who conceals vice,
یَا مَنْ سَتَرَ الْقَبِیحَ
O He, Who does not call to severe account for sins,
یَا مَنْ لَمْ یُؤَاخِذْ بِالْجَرِیرَةِ
O He, Who does not disclose the disgrace of his servants,
یَا مَنْ لَمْ یَهْتِکِ السِّتْرَ
O He, Who is the best forgiver,
یَا عَظِیمَ الْعَفْوِ یَا حَسَنَ التَّجَاوُزِ
O He, Who overlooks errancy,
یَا وَاسِعَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
O He, Whose forgiveness extends over all,
یَا بَاسِطَ الْیَدَیْنِ بِالرَّحْمَةِ
O He, Whose Hands are stretched forth in mercy,
یَا صَاحِبَ کُلِّ نَجْوَى
O He, Who knows all secrets,
یَا مُنْتَهَى کُلِّ شَکْوَى
O He, to Whom all complaints are directed.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
23- TO GET MORE BENEFICENCE
یَا ذَا النِّعْمَةِ السَّابِغَةِ
O Master of countless blessings,
یَا ذَا الرَّحْمَةِ الْوَاسِعَةِ
O Master of limitless mercy,
یَا ذَا الْمِنَّةِ السَّابِقَةِ
O Master surpassing all obligation,
یَا ذَا الْحِکْمَةِ الْبَالِغَةِ
O Master of perfect wisdom,
یَا ذَا الْقُدْرَةِ الْکَامِلَةِ
O Master of infinite might,
یَا ذَا الْحُجَّةِ الْقَاطِعَةِ
O Master of the decisive argument,
یَا ذَا الْکَرَامَةِ الظَّاهِرَةِ
O Master of the manifest miracle,
یَا ذَا الْعِزَّةِ الدَّائِمَةِ
O Master of perpetual prestige,
یَا ذَا الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِینَةِ
O Master of great strength,
یَا ذَا الْعَظَمَةِ الْمَنِیعَةِ
O Master of unsurpassable glory.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
24- TO RECEIVE ALLAH’S BLISS
یَا بَدِیعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ
O Originator of the heavens,
یَا جَاعِلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ
O Maker of darkness,
یَا رَاحِمَ الْعَبَرَاتِ
O Merciful to those who weep,
یَا مُقِیلَ الْعَثَرَاتِ
O He Who oversees slips and errors,
یَا سَاتِرَ الْعَوْرَاتِ
O Concealer of defects,
یَا مُحْیِیَ الْاَمْوَاتِ
O Reviver of the dead,
یَا مُنْزِلَ الْآیَاتِ
O Revealer of signs,
یَا مُضَعِّفَ الْحَسَنَاتِ
O Increaser of virtue,
یَا مَاحِیَ السَّیِّئَاتِ
O He Who calls to account.
یَا شَدِیدَ النَّقِمَاتِ
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
25- TO DISPELL ILL-LUCK
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا مُصَوِّرُ یَا مُقَدِّرُ
O Fashioner, O Preordainer,
یَا مُدَبِّرُ یَا مُطَهِّرُ
O Planner, O Purifer,
یَا مُنَوِّرُ یَا مُیَسِّرُ
O Illuminator, O Facilitator,
یَا مُبَشِّرُ یَا مُنْذِرُ
O Giver of glad tidings, O Warner,
یَا مُقَدِّمُ یَا مُؤَخِّرُ
O Giver of precedence, O Postponer.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
26- TO GET RID OF FEVER
یَا رَبَّ الْبَیْتِ الْحَرَامِ
O Lord of the Sanctuary,
یَا رَبَّ الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ
O Lord of the holy month,
یَا رَبَّ الْبَلَدِ الْحَرَامِ
O Lord of the Holy City,
یَا رَبَّ الرُّکْنِ وَ الْمَقَامِ
O Lord of the rukun and the maqam,
یَا رَبَّ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ
O Lord of the masha’ir of Mecca,
یَا رَبَّ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ
O Lord of the Holy Mosque in Mecca,
یَا رَبَّ الْحِلِّ وَ الْحَرَامِ
O Lord of what is lawful and what is proscribed,
یَا رَبَّ النُّورِ وَ الظَّلامِ
O Lord of light and darkness,
یَا رَبَّ التَّحِیَّةِ وَ السَّلامِ
O Lord of salutation and peace,
یَا رَبَّ الْقُدْرَةِ فِی الْاَنَامِ
O Lord of strength among creatures.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
27- TO DISMISS FEAR OF RULERS
یَا اَحْکَمَ الْحَاکِمِینَ
O Highest of all authorities,
یَا اَعْدَلَ الْعَادِلِینَ
O Most Just of all the just,
یَا اَصْدَقَ الصَّادِقِینَ
O Most Trustworthy of all the trustworthy,
یَا اَطْهَرَ الطَّاهِرِینَ
O Purest of the pure,
یَا اَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِینَ
O Best of creators,
یَا اَسْرَعَ الْحَاسِبِینَ
O quickest Reckoner,
یَا اَسْمَعَ السَّامِعِینَ
O Best of listeners,
یَا اَبْصَرَ النَّاظِرِینَ
O Most vigilant of invigilators,
یَا اَشْفَعَ الشَّافِعِینَ
O Best of intercessors,
یَا اَکْرَمَ الْاَکْرَمِینَ
O Most honourable of all.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
28- TO CURE MIGRAINE
یَا عِمَادَ مَنْ لا عِمَادَ لَهُ
O Supporter of the unsupported,
یَا سَنَدَ مَنْ لا سَنَدَ لَهُ
O Helper of the helpless,
یَا ذُخْرَ مَنْ لا ذُخْرَ لَهُ
O Protector of the unprotected,
یَا حِرْزَ مَنْ لا حِرْزَ لَهُ
O Shield for the defenceless,
یَا غِیَاثَ مَنْ لا غِیَاثَ لَهُ
O Hearer of the unheard appeal,
یَا فَخْرَ مَنْ لا فَخْرَ لَهُ
O Pride of those without pride,
یَا عِزَّ مَنْ لا عِزَّ لَهُ
O Honour of the honouress,
یَا مُعِینَ مَنْ لا مُعِینَ لَهُ
O Giver of Aid to the unaided,
یَا اَنِیسَ مَنْ لا اَنِیسَ لَهُ
O Friend of the forsaken,
یَا اَمَانَ مَنْ لا اَمَانَ لَهُ
O Shelter of the shelterless.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
29- TO BULID UP DEFENCE
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا عَاصِمُ یَا قَائِمُ
O Protector, O Persistent,
یَا دَائِمُ یَا رَاحِمُ
O Eternal, O Merciful,
یَا سَالِمُ یَا حَاکِمُ
O Accorder of peace,
یَا عَالِمُ یَا قَاسِمُ
O Omniscient, O Distributor,
یَا قَابِضُ یَا بَاسِطُ
O Preventor, O Opener.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
30- TO WIN WAR
یَا عَاصِمَ مَنِ اسْتَعْصَمَهُ
O Protector of he who seeks His protection,
یَا رَاحِمَ مَنِ اسْتَرْحَمَهُ
O Merciful to he who requests His mercy,
یَا غَافِرَ مَنِ اسْتَغْفَرَهُ
O Forgiver of the implore His forgiveness,
یَا نَاصِرَ مَنِ اسْتَنْصَرَهُ
O Helper of he who asks for His help,
یَا حَافِظَ مَنِ اسْتَحْفَظَهُ
O Protector of he who seeks His protection,
یَا مُکْرِمَ مَنِ اسْتَکْرَمَهُ
O Magnanimous to he who seeks His magnanimity,
یَا مُرْشِدَ مَنِ اسْتَرْشَدَهُ
O Guide for he who seeks His guidance,
یَا صَرِیخَ مَنِ اسْتَصْرَخَهُ
O Giver of Aid to he who seeks His aid,
یَا مُعِینَ مَنِ اسْتَعَانَهُ
O Rescuer of he who appeals to Him,
یَا مُغِیثَ مَنِ اسْتَغَاثَهُ
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
31- TO CURE EYE DISEASE
یَا عَزِیزا لا یُضَامُ
O Powerful Who is never overpowered,
یَا لَطِیفا لا یُرَامُ
O Benign Who is invisible,
یَا قَیُّوما لا یَنَامُ
O Self-Subsistent Who never sleeps,
یَا دَائِما لا یَفُوتُ
O Eternal Who never perishes,
یَا حَیّا لا یَمُوتُ
O Everliving Who never dies,
یَا مَلِکا لا یَزُولُ
O Monarch Whose rule is endless,
یَا بَاقِیا لا یَفْنَى
O Eternal Who is imperishable,
یَا عَالِما لا یَجْهَلُ
O Omniscient Who never forgets,
یَا صَمَدا لا یُطْعَمُ
O Independent Who needs no sustenance,
یَا قَوِیّا لا یَضْعُفُ
O Mighty Who never weakens.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
32- TO SUBDUE ENEMIES
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا اَحَدُ یَا وَاحِدُ
O Unique, O One,
یَا شَاهِدُ یَا مَاجِدُ
O Present, O Praiser,
یَا حَامِدُ یَا رَاشِدُ
O Exalted, O Guide,
یَا بَاعِثُ یَا وَارِثُ
O Resurrector, O Heir,
یَا ضَارُّ یَا نَافِعُ
O Harmful to the unjust, O Benificial to the just.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
33- TO FACE RULERS
یَا اَعْظَمَ مِنْ کُلِّ عَظِیمٍ
O Grandest of all the grand,
یَا اَکْرَمَ مِنْ کُلِّ کَرِیمٍ
O Most magnanimous of all the magnanimous,
یَا اَرْحَمَ مِنْ کُلِّ رَحِیمٍ
O Most merciful of all the merciful,
یَا اَعْلَمَ مِنْ کُلِّ عَلِیمٍ
O Most knowledgeable of all knowers,
یَا اَحْکَمَ مِنْ کُلِّ حَکِیمٍ
O Most Wise of all the wise,
یَا اَقْدَمَ مِنْ کُلِّ قَدِیمٍ
O Most ancient of all the ancient,
یَا اَکْبَرَ مِنْ کُلِّ کَبِیرٍ
O Most great of all the great,
یَا اَلْطَفَ مِنْ کُلِّ لَطِیفٍ
O Most benign of all the benign,
یَا اَجَلَّ مِنْ کُلِّ جَلِیلٍ
O Most magnificent of all the magnificent,
یَا اَعَزَّ مِنْ کُلِّ عَزِیزٍ
O Most mighty of all the mighty.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
34- TO DISPEL FEAR OF DARK NIGHTS
یَا کَرِیمَ الصَّفْحِ
O Most magnanimous in overlooking sins,
یَا عَظِیمَ الْمَنِّ
O Greatest benefactor,
یَا کَثِیرَ الْخَیْرِ
O Most bounteous in goodness,
یَا قَدِیمَ الْفَضْلِ
O Eternal in grace,
یَا دَائِمَ اللُّطْفِ
یَا لَطِیفَ الصُّنْعِ
O Creator of subtlety,
یَا مُنَفِّسَ الْکَرْبِ
O Remover of pain,
یَا کَاشِفَ الضُّرِّ
O Healer of injury,
یَا مَالِکَ الْمُلْکِ
O Master of dominion,
یَا قَاضِیَ الْحَقِّ
O True Judge.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
35- TO CURE TOOTACHE
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی عَهْدِهِ وَفِیٌّ
O He Who fulfils His promise,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی وَفَائِهِ قَوِیٌّ
O He Who is great in His might,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی قُوَّتِهِ عَلِیٌّ
O He Who is near everyone in spite of His greatness,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی عُلُوِّهِ قَرِیبٌ
O He Who is benign in His weariness,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی قُرْبِهِ لَطِیفٌ
O He Who is noble in His benignity,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی لُطْفِهِ شَرِیفٌ
O He Who is powerful in His nobility,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی شَرَفِهِ عَزِیزٌ
O He Who is great in His power,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی عِزِّهِ عَظِیمٌ
O He Who is exalted in His greatness,
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی عَظَمَتِهِ مَجِیدٌ
O He Who is praiseworthy in his exaltation.
یَا مَنْ هُوَ فِی مَجْدِهِ حَمِیدٌ
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
36- TO DRIVE AWAY JINN
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا کَافِی یَا شَافِی
O Sufficient, O Restorer of health,
یَا وَافِی یَا مُعَافِی
O Faithful, O Forgiver,
یَا هَادِی یَا دَاعِی
O Guide, O Summoner,
یَا قَاضِی یَا رَاضِی
O Judge, O Agreeable,
یَا عَالِی یَا بَاقِی
O High, O Eternal.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
37- TO WIN BATTLE
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ خَاضِعٌ لَهُ
O He before Whom everything bows,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ خَاشِعٌ لَهُ
O He before Whom everything is humbled,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ کَائِنٌ لَهُ
O He for Whom everything exists,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ مَوْجُودٌ بِهِ
O He to Whom everything owes its existence,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ مُنِیبٌ اِلَیْهِ
O He to Whom everything returns,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ خَائِفٌ مِنْهُ
O He of Whom everything is afraid,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ قَائِمٌ بِهِ
O one to Whom everything owes its stability,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ صَائِرٌ اِلَیْهِ
O He towards Whom everything retreats,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ یُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِ
O He Whom everything glorifies with praise,
یَا مَنْ کُلُّ شَیْءٍ هَالِکٌ اِلا وَجْهَهُ
O He besides Whom everything is perishable.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
38- TO SEEK ALLAH’S HELP
یَا مَنْ لامَفَرَّ اِلا اِلَیْهِ
O He-there is no retreat but towards Him,
یَا مَنْ لا مَفْزَعَ اِلا اِلَیْهِ
O He-there is no place of protection except with Him,
یَا مَنْ لا مَقْصَدَ اِلا اِلَیْهِ
O He-there is no right path except that which leads to Him,
یَا مَنْ لا مَنْجَى مِنْهُ اِلا اِلَیْهِ
O He-there is no shelter against Him but with Him,
یَا مَنْ لا یُرْغَبُ اِلا اِلَیْهِ
O He-there is no inclination towards anyone except Him,
یَا مَنْ لا حَوْلَ وَ لا قُوَّةَ اِلا بِهِ
O He-there is no strength and vigour but from Him,
یَا مَنْ لا یُسْتَعَانُ اِلا بِهِ
O He-none is invoked for help but He.
یَا مَنْ لا یُتَوَکَّلُ اِلا عَلَیْهِ
O He-trust is not reposed in anyone but He,
یَا مَنْ لا یُرْجَى اِلا هُوَ
O He-hope is not entertained from anyone except from He,
یَا مَنْ لا یُعْبَدُ اِلا هُوَ
O He-none is worshipped except He.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
39- TO OVERWHELM ENEMY
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَرْهُوبِینَ
O Best of those who are feared,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَرْغُوبِینَ
O Best of those who are liked,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَطْلُوبِینَ
O Best of those who are sought,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَسْئُولِینَ
O Best of those who are entreated,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَقْصُودِینَ
O Best of those who are longed for,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَذْکُورِینَ
O Best of those who are remembered,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَشْکُورِینَ
O Best of those to whom thanks are offered,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَحْبُوبِینَ
O Best of those who are loved,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمَدْعُوِّینَ
O Best of those who are called on,
یَا خَیْرَ الْمُسْتَأْنِسِینَ
O Best of those who are held in affection.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
40- TO SEEK FORGIVENESS
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I entreat Thee in Thy name:
یَا غَافِرُ یَا سَاتِرُ
O Forgiver, O Concealer [of defects],
یَا قَادِرُ یَا قَاهِرُ
O Mighty, O Supreme,
یَا فَاطِرُ یَا کَاسِرُ
O Creator, O Shatterer,
یَا جَابِرُ یَا ذَاکِرُ
O Joiner, O Rememberer,
یَا نَاظِرُ یَا نَاصِرُ
O Seeing, O Helper.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
41- TO DISPERSE POISONOUS WINDS
یَا مَنْ خَلَقَ فَسَوَّى
O He Who created and perfected,
یَا مَنْ قَدَّرَ فَهَدَى
O He Who made [everything] to measure and guided,
یَا مَنْ یَکْشِفُ الْبَلْوَى
O He Who removes misfortunes,
یَا مَنْ یَسْمَعُ النَّجْوَى
O He Who overhears secrets,
یَا مَنْ یُنْقِذُ الْغَرْقَى
O He Who rescues the drowning,
یَا مَنْ یُنْجِی الْهَلْکَى
O He Who saves the distressed,
یَا مَنْ یَشْفِی الْمَرْضَى
O He Who restores the sick to health,
یَا مَنْ اَضْحَکَ وَ اَبْکَى
O He who makes [His slaves] laugh and weep,
یَا مَنْ اَمَاتَ وَ اَحْیَا
O He Who causes to dies and calls to life,
یَا مَنْ خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَیْنِ الذَّکَرَ وَ الْاُنْثَى
O He Who has created pairs of male and female.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
42- TO AVOID CALAMITIES
یَا مَنْ فِی الْبَرِّ وَ الْبَحْرِ سَبِیلُهُ
O He Whose course is on land and in water,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْآفَاقِ آیَاتُهُ
O He Whose signs are in the universe,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْآیَاتِ بُرْهَانُهُ
O He in Whose signs are undeniable proofs,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْمَمَاتِ قُدْرَتُهُ
O He Whose might is exhibited in causing death,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْقُبُورِ عِبْرَتُهُ
O He Whose graves provide [people] with His lesson,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْقِیَامَةِ مُلْکُهُ
O He Whose kingdom will be on the Day of Judgement,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْحِسَابِ هَیْبَتُهُ
O He in Whose reckoning (of deeds) is His dread,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْمِیزَانِ قَضَاؤُهُ
O He in Whose balance is His order,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْجَنَّةِ ثَوَابُهُ
O He Whose paradise is the place of His good reward,
یَا مَنْ فِی النَّارِ عِقَابُهُ
O He Whose hell is the place of chastisement.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
43- TO BEFRIEND
یَا مَنْ اِلَیْهِ یَهْرُبُ الْخَائِفُونَ
O He-the frightened flee to Him,
یَا مَنْ اِلَیْهِ یَفْزَعُ الْمُذْنِبُونَ
O He-sinners take shelter with Him,
یَا مَنْ اِلَیْهِ یَقْصِدُ الْمُنِیبُونَ
O He-the repentant return to Him,
یَا مَنْ اِلَیْهِ یَرْغَبُ الزَّاهِدُونَ
O He-the pious incline towards Him,
یَا مَنْ اِلَیْهِ یَلْجَاُ الْمُتَحَیِّرُونَ
O He-the confounded seek shelter in Him,
یَا مَنْ بِهِ یَسْتَأْنِسُ الْمُرِیدُونَ
O He-the desirous have affection for Him,
یَا مَنْ بِهِ یَفْتَخِرُ الْمُحِبُّونَ
O He-lovers are proud of Him,
یَا مَنْ فِی عَفْوِهِ یَطْمَعُ الْخَاطِئُونَ
O He-transgressors have agreed for His forgiveness,
یَا مَنْ اِلَیْهِ یَسْکُنُ الْمُوقِنُونَ
O He-those who are sure in faith receive consolation from Him,
یَا مَنْ عَلَیْهِ یَتَوَکَّلُ الْمُتَوَکِّلُونَ
O He-those who trust Him rely on Him.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
44- TO CULTIVATE LOVE
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I entreat Thee in Thy name:
یَا حَبِیبُ یَا طَبِیبُ
O Friend, O Physician,
یَا قَرِیبُ یَا رَقِیبُ
O Near, O Supervisor,
یَا حَسِیبُ یَا مَهِیبُ [مُهِیبُ]
O Reckoner to account, O Awful,
یَا مُثِیبُ یَا مُجِیبُ
O Rewarder, O Acceptor,
یَا خَبِیرُ یَا بَصِیرُ
O Aware, O All-Seeing.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
45- TO DISPEL FEARFUL DREAMS
یَا اَقْرَبَ مِنْ کُلِّ قَرِیبٍ
O Nearest of all,
یَا اَحَبَّ مِنْ کُلِّ حَبِیبٍ
O Friendliest of all the friends,
یَا اَبْصَرَ مِنْ کُلِّ بَصِیرٍ
O Possessor of greater insight than all others,
یَا اَخْبَرَ مِنْ کُلِّ خَبِیرٍ
O Most Aware of all,
یَا اَشْرَفَ مِنْ کُلِّ شَرِیفٍ
O Noblest of all the nobles,
یَا اَرْفَعَ مِنْ کُلِّ رَفِیعٍ
O Most Exalted of all the exalted,
یَا اَقْوَى مِنْ کُلِّ قَوِیٍّ
O Mightiest of all mighty,
یَا اَغْنَى مِنْ کُلِّ غَنِیٍّ
O Most Independent of all,
یَا اَجْوَدَ مِنْ کُلِّ جَوَادٍ
O Most Generous of all,
یَا اَرْاَفَ مِنْ کُلِّ رَءُوفٍ
O Kindest of all those who are kind.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord
46- TO CURE INFANTILE PARALYSIS
یَا غَالِبا غَیْرَ مَغْلُوبٍ
O Dominant who is not overpowered,
یَا صَانِعا غَیْرَ مَصْنُوعٍ
O Designer who is not made,
یَا خَالِقا غَیْرَ مَخْلُوقٍ
O Creator who is not created,
یَا مَالِکا غَیْرَ مَمْلُوکٍ
O Master and not the slave,
یَا قَاهِرا غَیْرَ مَقْهُورٍ
O All-Dominant who is not dominated,
یَا رَافِعا غَیْرَ مَرْفُوعٍ
O Exalter and the Exalted,
یَا حَافِظا غَیْرَ مَحْفُوظٍ
O Protector who needs no protection,
یَا نَاصِرا غَیْرَ مَنْصُورٍ
O Helper who needs no help,
یَا شَاهِدا غَیْرَ غَائِبٍ
O Witness who is not absent,
یَا قَرِیبا غَیْرَ بَعِیدٍ
O Near who is not distant.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
47- TO CURE EPILEPSY
یَا نُورَ النُّورِ یَا مُنَوِّرَ النُّورِ
O Light of lights, O Illuminator of light,
یَا خَالِقَ النُّورِ یَا مُدَبِّرَ النُّورِ
O Creator of light, O Planner of light,
یَا مُقَدِّرَ النُّورِ یَا نُورَ کُلِّ نُورٍ
O Estimator of light, O Light of all lights,
یَا نُورا قَبْلَ کُلِّ نُورٍ
O Light that precedes in existence every light,
یَا نُورا بَعْدَ کُلِّ نُورٍ
O Light that will survive all lights,
یَا نُورا فَوْقَ کُلِّ نُورٍ
O Light that is above every light,
یَا نُورا لَیْسَ کَمِثْلِهِ نُورٌ
O Light like of which there is no light.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
48- TO GET RID OF CONSTIPATION
یَا مَنْ عَطَاؤُهُ شَرِیفٌ
O He Whose gift is noble,
یَا مَنْ فِعْلُهُ لَطِیفٌ
O He Whose action is subtle,
یَا مَنْ لُطْفُهُ مُقِیمٌ
O He Whose kindness is persistent,
یَا مَنْ اِحْسَانُهُ قَدِیمٌ
O He Whose beneficence is eternal,
یَا مَنْ قَوْلُهُ حَقٌّ
O He Whose word is right,
یَا مَنْ وَعْدُهُ صِدْقٌ
O He Whose promise is true,
یَا مَنْ عَفْوُهُ فَضْلٌ
O He Whose forgiveness is a grace,
یَا مَنْ عَذَابُهُ عَدْلٌ
O He Whose chastisement is justice,
یَا مَنْ ذِکْرُهُ حُلْوٌ
O He Whose remembrance is sweet,
یَا مَنْ فَضْلُهُ عَمِیمٌ
O He Whose grace is universal.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
49- TO CURE HEART’S AILMENT
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I entreat Thee in Thy name:
یَا مُسَهِّلُ یَا مُفَصِّلُ
O Facilitator, O Separator,
یَا مُبَدِّلُ یَا مُذَلِّلُ
O Alterer, O Humiliator of the proud,
یَا مُنَزِّلُ یَا مُنَوِّلُ
O Degrader,
یَا مُفْضِلُ یَا مُجْزِلُ
O Benefactor, O Munificent,
یَا مُمْهِلُ یَا مُجْمِلُ
O Giver of respite, O Virtuous.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
50- TO IMPROVE EYE SIGHT
یَا مَنْ یَرَى وَ لا یُرَى
O He Who sees but is not seen,
یَا مَنْ یَخْلُقُ وَ لا یُخْلَقُ
O He Who creates and is not created,
یَا مَنْ یَهْدِی وَ لا یُهْدَى
O He Who guides and is not guided,
یَا مَنْ یُحْیِی وَ لا یُحْیَى
O He Who receives to life and is not brought to life,
یَا مَنْ یَسْاَلُ وَ لا یُسْاَلُ
O He Who questions and is not questioned,
یَا مَنْ یُطْعِمُ وَ لا یُطْعَمُ
O He Who feeds and does not eat,
یَا مَنْ یُجِیرُ وَ لا یُجَارُ عَلَیْهِ
O He Who gives protection and is in no need of protection,
یَا مَنْ یَقْضِی وَ لا یُقْضَى عَلَیْهِ
O He Who judges and against Whom no judgement is passed,
یَا مَنْ یَحْکُمُ وَ لا یُحْکَمُ عَلَیْهِ
O He Who commands but is not commanded,
یَا مَنْ لَمْ یَلِدْ وَ لَمْ یُولَدْ وَ لَمْ یَکُنْ لَهُ کُفُوا اَحَدٌ
O He Who begets not, nor is He begotten, and there is none like unto Him.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
51- TO DISPEL MISCHIEF OF ENEMY
یَا نِعْمَ الْحَسِیبُ
O Best reckoner,
یَا نِعْمَ الطَّبِیبُ
O Best physician,
یَا نِعْمَ الرَّقِیبُ
O Best guardian,
یَا نِعْمَ الْقَرِیبُ
O Best near one,
یَا نِعْمَ الْمُجِیبُ
O Best responser,
یَا نِعْمَ الْحَبِیبُ
O Best friend,
یَا نِعْمَ الْکَفِیلُ
O Best surety,
یَا نِعْمَ الْوَکِیلُ
O Best protector,
یَا نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى
O Best master,
یَا نِعْمَ النَّصِیرُ
O Best helper.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee. The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
52- TO GET RID OF POVERTY
یَا سُرُورَ الْعَارِفِینَ
O Joy of saints,
یَا مُنَى الْمُحِبِّینَ
O Desire of friends,
یَا اَنِیسَ الْمُرِیدِینَ
O Friend of seekers,
یَا حَبِیبَ التَّوَّابِینَ
O Friend of penitents,
یَا رَازِقَ الْمُقِلِّینَ
O Provider of sustenance to the poor,
یَا رَجَاءَ الْمُذْنِبِینَ
O Hope of sinners,
یَا قُرَّةَ عَیْنِ الْعَابِدِینَ
O Coolness of worshippers’ eyes,
یَا مُنَفِّسَ عَنِ الْمَکْرُوبِینَ
O Remover of sufferers’ pain,
یَا مُفَرِّجَ عَنِ الْمَغْمُومِینَ
O Dispeller of the sorrows of the sorrowful,
یَا اِلَهَ الْاَوَّلِینَ وَ الْآخِرِینَ
O God of the first and the last generation.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
53- TO CULTIVATE LOVE
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I entreat Thee in Thy name:
یَا رَبَّنَا یَا اِلَهَنَا
O our Lord, O our God,
یَا سَیِّدَنَا یَا مَوْلانَا
O our Chief, O our Master,
یَا نَاصِرَنَا یَا حَافِظَنَا
O our Helper, O our Protector,
یَا دَلِیلَنَا یَا مُعِینَنَا
O our Guide, O our Aider,
یَا حَبِیبَنَا یَا طَبِیبَنَا
O our Friend, O our Physician.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
54- TO CURE TOOTHACHE
یَا رَبَّ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ الْاَبْرَارِ
O Lord of the prophets and the virtuous,
یَا رَبَّ الصِّدِّیقِینَ وَ الْاَخْیَارِ
O Lord of the righteous and chosen one,
یَا رَبَّ الْجَنَّةِ وَ النَّارِ
O Lord of paradise and hell,
یَا رَبَّ الصِّغَارِ وَ الْکِبَارِ
O Lord of the small and the great,
یَا رَبَّ الْحُبُوبِ وَ الثِّمَارِ
O Lord of grains and fruits,
یَا رَبَّ الْاَنْهَارِ وَ الْاَشْجَارِ
O Lord of canals and trees,
یَا رَبَّ الصَّحَارِی وَ الْقِفَارِ
O Lord of forest and desert,
یَا رَبَّ الْبَرَارِی وَ الْبِحَارِ
یَا رَبَّ اللَّیْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ
O Lord of night and day,
یَا رَبَّ الْاَعْلانِ وَ الْاَسْرَارِ
O Lord of the manifest and the hidden.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
55- TO CURE PAIN IN RIBS
یَا مَنْ نَفَذَ فِی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ اَمْرُهُ
O He, Whose command operates in everything,
یَا مَنْ لَحِقَ بِکُلِّ شَیْءٍ عِلْمُهُ
O He, Whose knowledge encompasses everything,
یَا مَنْ بَلَغَتْ اِلَى کُلِّ شَیْءٍ قُدْرَتُهُ
O He, Whose control extends to everything,
یَا مَنْ لا تُحْصِی الْعِبَادُ نِعَمَهُ
O He, Whose bounties cannot be counted by His slaves.
یَا مَنْ لا تَبْلُغُ الْخَلائِقُ شُکْرَهُ
O He, Whom His creatures cannot adequately thank,
یَا مَنْ لا تُدْرِکُ الْاَفْهَامُ جَلالَهُ
O He, Whose grandeur cannot be comprehended by the intellect,
یَا مَنْ لا تَنَالُ الْاَوْهَامُ کُنْهَهُ
O He, Whose reality cannot be acquired by the imagination,
یَا مَنِ الْعَظَمَةُ وَ الْکِبْرِیَاءُ رِدَاؤُهُ
O He, Whose garb is majesty and greatness,
یَا مَنْ لا تَرُدُّ الْعِبَادُ قَضَاءَهُ
O He, Whose judgement cannot be reversed by His slaves,
یَا مَنْ لا مُلْکَ اِلا مُلْکُهُ
O He, Whose alone is the kingdom and no one else’s,
یَا مَنْ لا عَطَاءَ اِلا عَطَاؤُهُ
O He, Whose alone is the gift and none else’s.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
56- TO CURE DISEASES
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْمَثَلُ الْاَعْلَى
O He, for Whom are noblest examples,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الصِّفَاتُ الْعُلْیَا
O He, for Whom are high attributes,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْآخِرَةُ وَ الْاُولَى
O He, Who is the Master of the beginning and the end,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ الْمَأْوَى
O He, Who is the Master of the abode of paradise,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْآیَاتُ الْکُبْرَى
O He, for Whom are great signs,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْاَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى
O He, for Whom are beautiful names,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْحُکْمُ وَ الْقَضَاءُ
O He, for Whom is order and judgement,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْهَوَاءُ وَ الْفَضَاءُ
O He, Who rules over the atmosphere and the expanse,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ الْعَرْشُ وَ الثَّرَى
O He, Whose is the Lordship of the highest heaven and the earth,
یَا مَنْ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ الْعُلَى
O He, Who is the Master of the high heavens.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
57- TO PREVENT HURRICANE
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ
O Allah, verily I beseech Thee in Thy name:
یَا عَفُوُّ یَا غَفُورُ
O Pardoner, O Forgiver,
یَا صَبُورُ یَا شَکُورُ
O Patient, O Greatest appreciator (of good),
یَا رَءُوفُ یَا عَطُوفُ
O Kind, O Sympathetic,
یَا مَسْئُولُ یَا وَدُودُ
O Besought, O Friend,
یَا سُبُّوحُ یَا قُدُّوسُ
O Most Glorified, O Most Holy.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
58- TO GET HONOR AND RESPECT
یَا مَنْ فِی السَّمَاءِ عَظَمَتُهُ
O He, Whose greatness is in the heavens,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْاَرْضِ آیَاتُهُ
O He, Whose signs are on the earth,
یَا مَنْ فِی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ دَلائِلُهُ
O He, Whose proofs are manifest in everything,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْبِحَارِ عَجَائِبُهُ
O He, Whose wonders are in the seas,
یَا مَنْ فِی الْجِبَالِ خَزَائِنُهُ
O He, Whose treasures are in the mountains,
یَا مَنْ یَبْدَاُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیدُهُ
O He, Who originated Creation which then returns to Him,
یَا مَنْ اِلَیْهِ یَرْجِعُ الْاَمْرُ کُلُّهُ
O He, towards Whom is the return of every matter,
یَا مَنْ اَظْهَرَ فِی کُلِّ شَیْءٍ لُطْفَهُ
O He, Whose kindness is evident in everything,
یَا مَنْ اَحْسَنَ کُلَّ شَیْءٍ خَلَقَهُ
O He, Who makes best everything which He has created,
یَا مَنْ تَصَرَّفَ فِی الْخَلائِقِ قُدْرَتُهُ
O He, Whose authority is wielded over all creatures.
سُبْحانَكَ يا لا اِلهَ اِلاّ اَنْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا رَبِّ
Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee, The Granter of all Succour, Protect us from the Fire, O Lord.
