The occurrence of tropical storm Gamane (Gamane) across the island of Madagascar left 18 dead and thousands displaced.
Accordingly, Madagascar’s disaster management office announced today (Friday): Tropical storm Gaman entered the country from the northeast on Wednesday and Thursday, and more than 20,000 people have been displaced due to the devastation caused by it.
This center pointed out: This terrible storm has left 3 injured so far and there is no news about the fate of the other 4 people. Typhoon Gaman, which had gusts of 150 km/h and gusts of 210 km/h, has caused landslides in northeastern Madagascar.
Local authorities say that the intensity of this storm has decreased today, but the torrential rains caused by Gaman storm have caused flooding in many areas of the country. Now some roads and bridges in the north of the country have been destroyed.
Madagascar has experienced deadly tropical storms over the past few years. Early last year, this country witnessed two deadly typhoons, Freddie and Cheneso, which left 37 dead and displaced thousands of people.
