UNRWA called for increased international pressure on the Zionist regime

Referring to the Zionist regime's insistence on the continuation of the all-out blockade of the Gaza Strip, UNRWA called for increased international pressure on this regime in order to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip.

Lazzarini, head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), asked the Zionist regime to allow convoys carrying humanitarian aid and food of this organization to reach northern Gaza. and open additional land crossings to facilitate the delivery of aid to the region.

The head of UNRWA, in a post on his user account on X social media (former Twitter), called on the countries of the world to pressure to implement the ruling of the International Court of Justice, which obliges the Zionist regime to take all necessary measures to ensure that basic aid reaches the Palestinians. to do in the Gaza Strip, to increase.

Lazzarini also emphasized the urgency of taking bold measures to prevent famine in Gaza, called on countries to reconsider their decisions on financing the agency and warned: the living conditions of more than 2 million people in Gaza are deteriorating and this area is becoming a place where it is impossible to continue living.

According to Al Jazeera, it has been 176 consecutive days that the occupying army of the Zionist regime, with the support of the United States and Europe, has launched a genocide against civilians in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 32,000 people and the injury of more than 75,000 others. and according to international institutions and organizations, 85% of the population of the Gaza Strip have been displaced.
