France: We give missiles and old armored vehicles to Ukraine

The expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to Russia’s borders is considered the main reason for the start of the war in Ukraine. However, the Western authorities not only do not learn from their mistakes, but by sending weapons to Kiev, they provoke Moscow even more to continue the war.

According to the Reuters news agency, French Defense Minister Sébastien LeCorneau announced today (Sunday) about sending more weapons to Ukraine.

Accordingly, Le Courneau announced: France intends to send hundreds of its old armored vehicles as well as surface-to-air missiles to Ukraine so that Kyiv has a better combat capability to counter Russian attacks.

He pointed out: French President Emmanuel Macron, after talking with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, asked me to send the new military aid package, which includes old but still effective French weapons and military equipment, to Kiev.

Referring to the continuation of Paris’s financial and weapon support for Ukraine in the war with Russia, he added: “Ukraine’s army needs to defend its long borders with Russia.” For this reason, this country needs armored vehicles. This military equipment is necessary for the movements of the Ukrainian army and is provided to it at the request of this country.

According to the Minister of Defense of France, Paris intends to provide hundreds of armored vehicles to Ukraine this year and early 2025. Also, Aster surface-to-air missiles, which have a range of 120 kilometers, are to be provided to the army of this country.
