Palestinian resistance: Israel’s attack was given a green light by America
An official in the Popular Front Movement for the Liberation of Palestine announced that the Zionist regime's attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus could not take place without the permission of the United States. |
Abu Ahmed Fawad, head of Arab and national relations in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, emphasized on Monday that the Zionist regime’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus is not possible without the US green light.
Fawad, in a conversation with Al-Mayadeen network, considered the assassination of Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, commander of the Quds Force of Lebanon and Syria, and his companions to be difficult for the resistance axis and the Palestinian nation. Fawad emphasized that Martyr Zahedi was eager to develop capabilities in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank as an important factor in destabilizing the occupying regime.
He stated that the commander of the Quds Corps of Lebanon and Syria was focused on “attracting all capabilities in the resistance front”, and announced: he was pursuing the necessary arrangements with the relevant authorities to send weapons to Gaza.
Abu Ahmed Fawad further assured Al-Mayadeen that the Palestinian resistance factions will never give up on the four principles identified by the resistance, especially the cessation of war and the return of refugees. He noted: “Resistance shows determination in negotiations and adheres to its conditions more than ever.
This Palestinian official emphasized: The resistance, despite all its steadfastness and dedication, cannot accept that the Zionists remain in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian groups condemned the attack by the Zionist regime that targeted the building of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the capital of Syria, and emphasized that this is a clear violation of international laws, an attack on the sovereignty of Syria and Iran, and an escalation of the dangerous actions of the Zionist regime. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed that the policy of terror has failed, but nevertheless it has always been an incentive for the occupiers to intensify their attacks.
Nasser Kanani, the spokesman of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that multiple aspects of aggression are being discussed, held the Zionist regime responsible for its consequences and emphasized that Iran reserves the right to respond to this criminal act. He further added that it is Iran that decides the type of response and the type of punishment of the Zionist regime regarding this attack.
Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Moqdad also condemned the criminal act that led to the martyrdom of Sardar Zahedi, and emphasized that the Zionist regime cannot influence the relations between Syria and Iran.
