Ukraine’s prosecutor’s office announced the arrest of a group led by the former adviser of Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s office on charges of embezzlement of 2.5 million dollars.
According to the report of Ryanovsti news agency, this embezzlement took place during the purchase of transformers for the Ukrainian Railways. The Prosecutor General’s Office did not reveal the name of the former adviser in Zelenskyi’s office, but Oleksiy Goncharenko, a member of the Ukrainian parliament, wrote on his Telegram channel that the conversation was about Artyom Shilo. He worked in the State Security Service of Ukraine since 2012 and was fired in 2017, after which he worked as a consultant in Zelenskyi’s office for a year in 2021.
