Ahmadiyan’s consultation with the officials of the member countries of the Shanghai Organization

After the permanent membership of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Shanghai Organization, this is the first appearance of the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council in such a meeting.

Today, Thursday, Ahmadian met with “Nikolai Patrushev”, the secretary of the National Security Council of Russia. In this meeting, Mr. Patrushev expressed sympathy for the martyrdom of a number of advisors of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria, and strongly condemned the attack on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus. Dr. Ahmadian also appreciated Russia’s action to request a meeting of the United Nations Security Council in this regard.

Further, the secretaries of the Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation discussed issues such as the joint fight against terrorism, the assistance of the councils The national security of the two countries accelerated various projects under the action of the two sides, including the North-South Corridor, helping the Syrian government to consolidate its sovereignty over the entire territory of this country and other issues of mutual interest, regional and international.

The representative of the Supreme Leader and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council also met with the Minister of Public Security of China and discussed ways to better implement the 25-year strategic document between the two countries. In this meeting, the Chinese side once again condemned the terrorist attack on the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria and considered this action as a violation of Syrian sovereignty. He emphasized the coordination and cooperation of the two countries in bilateral, regional and international arenas, especially the more efficient use of Shanghai’s capacity. The National Security Adviser of the Republic of India also announced at the meeting of the Secretaries of the National Security Councils of the Shanghai Organization member states that the Islamic Republic Iran supports against the terrorist attack on the Iranian embassy.

Pakistan’s representative at the Astana summit also expressed his country’s support for Iran against the terrorist attack on the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria, and expressed his condolences for this incident. In addition, the Secretary General of the Shanghai Organization expressed his condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran for the terrorist attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria and announced that a statement will be issued in this regard. Islamic Iran expressed concern in Syria and said that the new terrorist attacks show that the member countries of the Shanghai Organization should cooperate more.
