According to Webangah News quoted by Tasnim News agency, “Abomaria Al-Qahtani” is one of the leaders of the “Haye Tahrir al-Sham” group. (former Jabhat al-Nusra) was killed following a bomb explosion in the city of “Sarmada” in Idlib province.
According to Al-Mayadin Network website, the explosion occurred at his residence and a number of his companions were also killed.
Al-Qahtani was previously accused of treason by “Abu Mohammad Al-Julani” and is in prison, but due to pressure, the leaders of Tahrir al-Sham were forced to release him.
From On the other hand, “Jihad Isa al-Sheikh”, one of the former leaders of the Tahrir al-Sham group, accused “Mohammed al-Jolani” of assassinating al-Qahtani and called on the terrorist elements of this group to stage a coup against al-Jolani.
