He added: The Security Council should ask Israel to immediately implement a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The representative of Russia in the Security Council emphasized: Israel does not distinguish between civilians and armed forces, as well as between schools, mosques, hospitals and military facilities.
He stated: The situation in Gaza has worsened due to the suspension of UNRWA activities. Despite this, Israel has not yet provided valid reasons regarding the participation of UNRWA employees in the Al-Aqsa storm operation.
In this regard, China’s representative in the Security Council emphasized: We want the implementation of the Security Council’s resolution regarding the immediate realization of a ceasefire in Gaza.
He added: All land crossings adjacent to the Gaza Strip should be reopened and humanitarian aid should be allowed to enter this strip.
The representative of China stated: Palestine’s membership in the United Nations as a full member should be supported. Israel must adhere to international laws and stop its attacks against civilian centers and relief forces in Gaza.
