Hashd Shaabi forces were on alert in Anbar province

The aforementioned security source stated: Iraqi forces have taken the necessary security measures in Anbar province.

Abdullah Ahmed Al-Jaghifi, an Iraqi political analyst, warned earlier about the security situation in the three western provinces of the country and said: Security commanders in the western parts of the country have issued urgent warnings to take measures. They have issued necessary following the increase in the number of ISIS-affiliated groups.

He added: These groups are active in the deserts between Anbar, Mosul and Salahuddin provinces. There are concerns about the terrorist activities of the mentioned elements against the security forces.
