115 French representatives demanded not to sell arms to Israel
115 representatives of Macron's opposition demanded not to sell arms to the Zionist regime, fearing that France would become an accomplice to the genocide in Gaza. |
115 representatives of the French opposition asked the president of this country, Emmanuel Macron, to immediately stop the sale of weapons to the Zionist regime and warned of the consequences of France becoming an accomplice in the crime of genocide.
According to the RT report, in their letter, referring to the fact that the International Court of Justice ruled last January that the Zionist regime should prevent the genocide in Gaza, these French parliamentarians stated: the number of people killed in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip have lost their lives in the coming days, it will exceed 33,000 people.
This letter indicates that many opposition representatives have asked the government to provide a statement about France’s military supplies to the Zionist army. The signatories of the letter said: What has been revealed in the press investigation about the sale of ammunition and weapons approved by the Ministry of Defense from the Eurolinx factory in Marseille to the Israeli army, shows that the weapons sold to Israel are not defensive.
Parliamentarians believe that France, by continuing to sell military equipment to the Zionist regime, violates the international treaties it has signed.
Remembering that a number of countries including Canada, Spain and the Netherlands have taken similar measures, these representatives asked the French president to immediately stop selling weapons, even defensively, to the far-right Zionist regime.
The authors of the letter addressed to Macron said: Considering that the time has come for France to reach the level of the historical moment, you cannot take the risk of France becoming a participant in the genocide against the Palestinian people.
