The Hamas delegation will go to Cairo tomorrow
A delegation headed by the deputy head of the Hamas movement in Gaza will travel to Egypt's capital tomorrow for ceasefire talks. |
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced in a statement that a delegation from this group will go to Cairo for ceasefire talks on April 7th (tomorrow) in response to the invitation of Egyptian mediators.
According to Reuters, “Khalil al-Hiya” will be the deputy head of the Hamas movement in Gaza at the head of this delegation.
Hamas’ demands so far include a permanent ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of Zionist forces from Gaza, the return of refugees to their homes, and a “serious” exchange of Palestinian prisoners with Zionist prisoners held in Gaza.
In the previous one-week ceasefire that was established in November, more than 100 Zionist prisoners were exchanged with Palestinian prisoners, but still more than 130 prisoners, 99 of whom are believed to be alive, are still in Gaza, and the pressure from their relatives is increasing. The prime minister of the Zionist regime is increasing.
Osame Hamdan, one of the leaders of the Hamas movement, had previously informed about the Zionists’ disruption in the negotiations and announced that it seems that Netanyahu is not serious about freeing the Zionist prisoners.
