Trump: Before the debate, Biden should take a drug test
Trump accused his Democratic rival, Biden, of using drugs to properly deliver the annual speech. |
Former US President Donald Trump claimed that Biden was “heavily under the influence of drugs” during his annual speech, calling it “the worst speech I’ve ever seen”.
He went on to point to last year’s scandal in which the Secret Service discovered a package of cocaine in the White House, suggesting that Biden may have been helped in some way to get through the annual speech.
Trump said: I watched the state of the speech, he was very energetic and good at the beginning, but at the end he faded quickly, something is going on there.
A plastic package containing cocaine was discovered in a phone booth in the West Wing of the White House on July 2, 2023, according to Artie. After the investigation began, the Secret Service dropped the case after only a few weeks, concluding that it was nearly impossible to trace the owner of the materials. The move angered Biden’s critics, with many suggesting the cocaine may have belonged to the president’s son, Hunter, who has admitted to struggling with substance abuse.
The White House has officially denied any involvement by the Biden family in the case and praised the Secret Service’s “thorough investigation.” Trump, however, insists that Biden must take a drug test before the November presidential debates. The billionaire had previously asked the president to debate him “anywhere, anytime.” Biden has yet to agree to any debates with his rival, but said last month that it would depend on “Trump’s behavior.”
Recent polls have shown that most voters are concerned about the mental abilities of Trump and Biden, who are going to compete in the presidential election on November 5.
A new poll showed that 63 percent of American voters do not believe that Biden has the mental capacity to do an effective job as president. 57 percent said the same about Trump.
“If it were me, I would warn Putin about the terrorist attack”
Trump also said that if given the chance, he would have personally warned Russian President Vladimir Putin about a possible terrorist attack on Moscow’s Kraków City Hall.
The reporter told Trump that Washington “knew the Moscow attack was going to happen” and expressed doubt that US President Joe Biden had called Putin to inform him; If it were you, he asked, would you personally warn the Russian leader about the terrorist plot? Trump said: I was calling him. I would inform him.
On March 22, four gunmen stormed the Crocus City Hall concert venue outside Moscow, opened fire and set the building on fire. At least 144 people, including six children, were killed in this massacre and more than 500 people were injured. This terrorist act was the deadliest act on Russian soil since the early 2000s.
While the Afghanistan-based branch of ISIS (ISIS-K) claimed responsibility for the attack, Alexander Bortnikov, the head of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), claimed in March that the US, UK and Ukraine may have to be involved in this attack.
In response to the White House’s claim that the US had warned Russia about a possible terrorist target before the massacre at the Krakow City Hall, Sergei Naryshkin, head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), confirmed this, but added : The information was very general and did not allow us to fully identify the people who participated in this terrible crime.
