According to Sputnik’s report, the Presidency of the Security Council will hold a closed session tomorrow at 12:00 local time in order to confirm the receipt of Palestine’s letter and refer it to the relevant committee. The council is not expected to issue a statement at tomorrow’s meeting. Since 2012, Palestine is only an observer member of the Security Council.
Earlier, Riyad Mansour, the representative of Palestine in the United Nations, said that Palestine wants the UN Security Council to vote on Palestine’s full membership in this body this month. .
