Iraq agrees to send fuel to Gaza

News sources reported on Monday morning that Iraq agreed to send fuel to Gaza and accept wounded Palestinians for treatment in this country.

According to the Reuters news agency, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani announced in a statement that Iraq has agreed to send 10 million liters of fuel to the Gaza Strip to support the Palestinian people.

According to this report, Iraq has also agreed to receive Palestinian wounded from Gaza and treat them in public and private hospitals in this country.

Palestinian resistance groups started the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza (southern Palestine) against the positions of the Israeli regime on October 15, 2023, which finally ended on December 3, 1402 (November 24, 2023) after 45 days of fighting. A four-day temporary truce was established between Hamas and Israel for the exchange of prisoners.

This pause in the war continued for seven days and finally on the morning of Friday, December 10th (December 1, 2023), the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed its attacks against Gaza. It has closed the Gaza strip and is bombarding this area.
