China: Beijing has no interest in continuing the war in Ukraine

report Mehr News Agency quoted by Bloomberg, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mao Ning said in a press conference that Beijing is neither a party to the war in Ukraine nor does it benefit from this war.
Mao Ning said about this: China is neither the cause nor the originator of the crisis in Ukraine. We have never sought any benefit from the war in Ukraine and we will not.
He added: We will continue to develop peace talks in our own way and maintain communication channels with both sides of the war, i.e. Russia and Ukraine.
China’s senior diplomat emphasized: Beijing has always monitored export items with dual use; Items whose military applications are said to have helped Russian forces. The countries involved should not criticize and attack the relations between the governments of China and Russia, let alone blame China!
Mao Ning did not mention the United States by name, but Washington has warned its allies that Beijing has increased its support for Moscow by providing geographic information.
The statements of the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry came at the same time as the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Beijing for talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
